Nero's POV

We found ourselves inside of an ancient temple. It had gray, mossy walls, and it was possibly lined with booby traps. Cody stepped forward but I placed my paw in front of him, "Be careful dude, you don't know what traps might be in these ruins!", I lectured. I take a look around and see a tripwire, which I thought could shoot arrows if someone were to step on it.
I cut the wires with my unsheathed claw, which shot arrows at both sides. I beckoned everyone forward and lead them down a path, which was blocked by a wall of vines. I tried the other way, which lead to another hallway that had a doorway on the other side. I look down and see spikes popping out of the mossy floor, and back in. It repeats every fifteen seconds. Cody walks across when the spikes were still buried in the ground. I do the same.

~time skip~

When we were somewhat near the exit, we were confronted by a huge gray tiger, probably Siberian. I read his tag, which was in wing dings, I somewhat knew what it said. "Gaster." I whispered to myself while reading the tag. The tiger seemed to have dark spirals of energy forming around him while he gave me the death stare. 'Oh God no.', I though while I panicked internally. Suddenly memories rush back to me.

-flashback time yay!-

I was a 5 month old leopard, I lived in a back yard cage with my adoptive brother Gaster, who was 7 months old. The cage was 10 feet wide and 10 feet tall. Our mother recently passed away from a rare disease, suddenly, a hedgehog walks up to our cage and takes Gaster away from me, he picked him up by the scruff like a kitten. I read his badge, it said, "Mobotropolis zoo staff.", I stuck my paw out of the cage, "GASTER!", I yelled. He screamed and scratched the zookeeper's arm. But he was then placed into a metal cage. The zookeeper shakes hands with my former owner and gave him 2,000 dollars.
I lay down on the concrete floor and shed a single tear. "Gasterrrr.", I whispered sadly.

-flashback ends-

"B-big-b-b-brother?", I asked the dark tiger.

Gaster gasps in surprise and pinned me down while smiling a crooked smile.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE ITS YOU!", he exclaimed happily.

"After all these years, I thought I forgot about you!", I yelled.

The faint happiness soon subsided when Cody cleared his throat, "Um guys, the human cub isn't gonna save herself, come on!"

I chuckle nervously, "Heh heh, right. Gaster do you know a way out of here?"

~time skip~

"Whoa, its about time that we're out of that temple, let's go!", Diogenes said.

Carter stretches, "Agreed!"
