We arrived at school, I got out after Vylad.  I had my ear buds in playing sick kick - Infected. Walking up the stairs humming softly, I wasn't instantly recognized as over the month I changed my hair style to H/s.

And of course I got slightly bigger ' personality ', so I looked a lot different.  Also I'm slimmer, since I took up Zumba and dancing. I use to only sing but I thought I'd try that.

While I was walking I didn't noticed a group of kids talking to me, until a boy grabbed my shoulder. I have no idea what happened next but I had his hand bent backwards against his back.

Letting go of him he hissed slightly, I took my ear buds out of my ears. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that. " I apologized to him as he held his sore arm to his side.

"you're rather strong, I'll give you that. "He said his blue eyes flickered in slight amusement, before he leaned closer to my face.  His blue eyes narrowing as he stared at me.

"umm.. What are you doing?" I asked stepping back a little, as his eyes lit up in shock. Everyone was looking at us now.

"Y/n L/n! Your back! Long time no see. "He said and it finally clicked, Gene, all the students that surrounded us all looked at me.

As if they finally realized me, I nodded stiffly. "Yeah... Been a long time huh?"I said nervously, as a werewolf girl stepped forward.

Her silver ears were covered with a black beanie, her white and pink ombre hair laid flat down.  Her tail at first was swaying slow, before gradually speeding up.

Her violet eyes shimmered happily as she ran over and hugged me, "Y/n!!  I missed you so so SO much!" The girl I knew as April spoke.  (if that's your name go with it. K? k. )

I smiled as I gave her a hug back and she let me go.  "Hey April, how's it been?"I asked her, she looked at me smiling brightly where her white fangs showed.

"Good now that you back. "She replied, swaying her hips with her tail.  As she looked as if she wanted to hug me again.

"That's good, anyway my last name isn't L/n anymore. It's Ro'meave. "I said rubbing my arm sheepishly.

Everyone looked shocked, I herd some whispers.

"It's true! Her mother did die... Poor girl. "

"The rumors true! "

Hearing the words again I lowered my head sadly, as tears began to break through.  Gene an his gang looked in shock  at me. 

April's tail dropped, and she stopped moving.  "oh.. I'm so sorry y/n.. " She placed a hand gently on my shoulder as I stared at the ground.

Gene looked wide eyed at me, he looked as if he was about to speak but decided against it. "I'm sorry, I thought I'd be better. "I said wiping my eyes before sighing.

I didn't want to cry in front of so many people, "Excuse me. "I said, before running out of the crowd of students.  Nearly crashing into a tall black haired boy, and short black haired girl.

Shoving past them I continued to run off, after hearing a HEY! From the girl. I just continued running nearly tripping over my feet.

I made it to the bleachers an slid under them, sitting there I held my head in my hands. I really can't believe I almost cried in front of the school!

"Hey, you okay?"A voice asked me, I shot my head up in surprised. Smacking it on to the bleacher. I hissed slightly as I looked up at Gene.

"huh? Oh yeah I'm fine."I said forcing a smile at him, he didn't look impressed and just sat down in front of me.

I looked at him in shock as he stared at me with studying blue eyes.  " I'm going to say it again, are you okay?"He repeated, I looked at him.

Looking away as I nodded, "yeah like I said I'm fine. "I sat crisscross now, my hands in my lap.

"Then look me in the eyes an say you fine. "He said, I looked at his blue  eyes.  Staring into them I couldn't speak the words.

It was as if a spell was casted on me, I couldn't say the words.  Lowering my head in defeat, why was Gene being so nice to me?

I sighed as I closed my eyes, "I'm not fine. " I finally said, leaning forward to catch my head into my hands.

"I figured, but hey... I can't guarantee that the pain will go away. It takes years, but I do know you can learn to come to peace with what happened. "Gene said softly, Placing a hand awkwardly on my shoulder.

"Besides, I meant to give this to you.  For your birthday. "He held up a box.  It was black with a f/c ribbon(if you F/C is black then it's white) ribbon binding it. 

I lifted my head, and grabbed the box in my hands.  It was small, but pretty.  I looked at him in shock.  "You got me a present?"I said in shock.

Gene looked embarrassed, with red cheeks he nodded quickly. I opened it carefully, "Down work nothing will explode in your face. "He promised.

It made me laugh slightly, as I opened the box a beautiful bracelet was in it. The silver band had a word engraved on it.

Reach for the stars, to grab the moon.

It had a few stars and a present moon decorated onto it, I lifted it out of the box and slid it on. "I remembered you talking in class about how much you liked the stars and moon. " Gene admitted.

"So I figured I'd give you a gift, and hopefully we can be friends.  I know I wasn't always the nicest to you. " he added, his cheeks were a dark red in embarrassment.

I was shocked, he remembered that? Wow. I felt a smile climb my face, "You remembered that? I said that in middle school. "I said shocked, Gene's cheeks went a darker red.  As his stoic face looked away from me. 

"I love it, thank you for making it for me "I said, as I grazed a finger over the hand carved words. He looked shocked.

"How did you tell?"He looked flustered and shocked. Which made me chuckle softly. As I looked up at him.

"cause only you write your M's like this. "I said pointing to the slightly pointed M. Smiling still, I felt better now I'll admit.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you use to judge my writing. "He joked, I playfully punched him.  As I laughed, I herd the bell ring and we got up.

"Thank you again, Gene. "I said giving him a quick hug before running off.  Leaving Gene Flustered and shocked.  Clearly didn't think this far ahead to suspect a hug.

I ran off towards April, who once she saw me exhaled a sigh of relief. Before we started walking together.

"Hey y/n?"April asked, her tail swayed softly.

"Yes? "I responded taking a glance at her.

"Want to join me and my friend's band? We need a lead singer. "April said with hope.

"who are the other member's?"I asked, wanting all the details before I jumped to a answer.

"it's currently only Me, Aphmau and Zenix oh and Zane. "April said, I only knew Zane out of the group.

"Interesting, I guess I'll join. When will I get to meet the other's?"I asked as we neared homeroom.

"After school, in the music room. " April replied, she was in Homeroom next door to me.  So she winked at me before doing her signature flirt goodbye.

"Bye Gorgeous~"  she winked as she walked away, I smiled softly and shook my head.  Before entering homeroom, let's get this over with.

Time skip to after school brought to you by flustered Gene.

It was after school and I neared the music room, as I entered. Making my way to a seat I sat down.  I be as the only one in at the moment.

But a few minutes later, April, Zane and two other people came in.  I waved at Zane who seemed surprised but also I knew he was secretly glad.

"Aph, Zenix meet Y/n.  Who'll be our lead singer. "April said, sounding proud of herself.

I waved at them, the boy with red eyes looked curious.  While the black haired girl looked happily.

"So I take it we aren't a Goth/Emo band. "I joked, making April laugh. 

Before she went serious, "No. We aren't, unless you girls want to dress up in black and red, or black and purple. "April said as she messed with her spiked choker.

I looked at the girl, Aphmau before shrugging. "I mean sure i guess.  I dont mind a little Black and red or purple.  "I said standing up and walking over to them.

"where will we get goth clothes though?"Aphmau asked, And I saw the Smirk on April's face and I sighed.  Before she snapped her fingers.

"Alright Ladies! We're going to my house!" April said, Zane and Zenix started to walk off but April grabbed their wrist before charging off.

Knowing that Aph may not be able to run a s fast as her, I lifted aph up in a piggy back ride.  Before sprinting off after her.

I laughed a little after hearing Zenix and Zane shout at the same time. "We aren't ladies!" they both shouted at April.

"Well now you are, Now my brother is still here so well ride with. "April replied as we followed her out of school.
