It has been clouding her mind for awhile now. She could not get it out of her head.

Did she really like Tom? And if she did, why did it take her ex coming to her house to figure it out?

Out of the whole cast, Zendaya was the closest to Tom. She didn't know how they got so close. Maybe, it's because they were more similar than she thought they would be. They have their differences, but altogether, they have a lot more in common than Zendaya ever thought they would have.

If Zendaya did like Tom, she had to make sure he would not just be a rebound. Yes, she was completely over Trevor, and they have been broken up for awhile now. But she did not want to try dating again, until she knew that she would be okay with giving it another shot after what happened with Trevor.

Is it too early to even go into another relationship? How long do you wait after having breaking up with someone?

Zendaya sighed as she put her script for the Greatest Showman. Clearly, she was not getting anything done anytime soon. She went to the kitchen to see what Darnell was cooking.

Right when he saw her walk in, Darnell asked, "How is the script? Do you need help memorizing your lines?"

Zendaya shook her head. "No, I just can't focus."

"What's on your mind then?"

Zendaya opened her mouth to answer his question but paused for a second. Should she tell Darnell? Of course, Zendaya trusted Darnell, but she did not even know for sure if she liked Tom or not.

"Earth to Zendeesha. You there?"

Zendaya took a second to think about what she was going to say.

"Yeah, um, I just got a question."

Darnell stopped what he was doing and looked at her.

"I'm listening."

"Okay, so, when does someone get back into a relationship after getting out of one?"

Darnell didn't say anything for a second.

"What I'm getting out of this is that you like someone else now."

"... I'm asking for a friend."

Darnell went back to cooking knowing damn well she was asking for advice for her and said, "Well, this friend should know that no one can tell them when they are ready to start a relationship again. They have to know when they are ready, and that is when they can be with someone else again."

"But how do you know when you're ready?"

"You just do. There isn't really a way to explain it. When the time comes, you'll know."

Zendaya walked out the kitchen, keeping Darnell's words in her head. She was seeing Tom soon. He is visiting her with Jacob in New York.

So, maybe, she will know then?
