Appendices
As New Earth Six was originally its own entity, it possessed a great deal of reference information for the reader on the subject of characters, worlds, races etc. For now, this information will be at the front of the story to avoid confusion as a reader scrolls through. Once this volume is complete, it shall be moved to the back. This is for pure reference. Spoilers have been omitted for the time being and the appendix shall be updated as we go.

Races
True Humans
Direct descendants of the first planet Earth, this is the sect of humans who broke away from New Earth 5 to establish New Earth 6. True humans believe in keeping the race as pure as possible, therefore inter species breeding is forbidden on the planet, earning those who breed with another species automatic exile or death in certain territories. The human race has evolved somewhat in the last few thousand years. Advanced medical techniques led to longer life spans, slowing the aging process until the last few years of life, and eliminating most diseases and viruses. Humans have also gained access to another 7% of their brains. Humans can now naturally make advanced calculations in their heads, heal faster, and certain natural tendencies are more pronounced than before. A empathetic person can sense strong emotions, strong sensory preceptors can read life energies, such as knowing the identity of a person who left a room hours ago, and so on. Basic human anatomy remains the same except certain unnecessary organs have phased out over the last few eons such as the appendix, tonsils, wisdom teeth, and gall bladder. Through great efforts of geneticists, humans have maintained a decent scope of racial diversity, though few if any ethnic identities have survived past the destruction of the original Earth.
The Fey
The Fey often visited humans during the early stages of our history, earning a place in our folklore and literature. They are a long lived race, living for hundreds of thousands of years. The Titania and Oberon of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream are in fact a bastardization of the real Fey ruling couple, Titain'a and O'bron. Appearance wise, the Fey resemble humans a great deal, at least superficially, and their species is biologically compatible. Their features are considered exotic; tall graceful bodies, willowy limbs, long fingers, tipped ears. Their faces are fine boned, with sharper angles, their musculature is lean in build. Fey hair is almost gossamer in texture, practically floating around them as they move, while their pupil-less eyes are almond shape and tilted. Skin tones and coloring veer towards natural plant tones, the Fey are a race built to blend into their surroundings. They are very in touch with nature, their technology is a blending of nature and science, their massive planet sized ships are basically cybernetic organisms, completely self sustaining.
The Fey are a powerful, influential race. The extent of their reach and control is still unknown. While they seem benevolent, their idea of justice and morality can be rather twisted. Fey grow cold, more cruel with age, some are rumored to go mad as they minds begin to decay before their bodies. The Fey fear this madness; in their past insane Fey have destroyed entire planets.
The Nisseri
It is difficult to describe the appearance of the Nisseri. They might have looked very similar to humans at one time. The Nisseri are a patchwork people, long ago adopting the practice of harvesting body parts, first from their dead, to extend their life spans. When their race achieved space travel, this practice soon spread to other cultures, harvesting parts from the dead of other races to use for their own benefit. Somewhere along the way, in just the past few hundred years, this practice took a turn for the worst. A cult rose in Nisseri culture known as the cult of Opherious, the Blight Bringer, rising to a position of power that swept through their nation. The cult believed their destiny was to be the Blight of worlds, giving rise to the Nisseri Salvagers, ships that harvested parts from the living. This cult also brought the use of cybernetic implants to replace where flesh failed. Bio mechanics are Nisseri trained in the art of taking and replacing, 'donors' from other races could be kept alive with the use of bio mechanic implants.
The use of this technology to extend their lives quickly dissolved into something much worse, Nisseri are known for changing out parts on their own children, some still infants when they receive their first visit to the flesh shop. Soon after the cult of Opherious took total control of the Nisseri, an actual plague came down on their race. No origin to this sickness could be established, but the plague took millions of lives, infecting the populace so severely, the Nisseri abandoned their home world to save their race. The Nisseri now survive on their ships, adapted to house tribal units. It was soon discovered the plague existed on other planets, though it seemed to only be lethal to the Nisseri. As a result they rarely leave their ships, terrified the plague will find them. Members who do leave where special suits to protect them from a planets environs. Since they fear leaving their ships, many have continued to add to them, making them almost as patch work as their makers, constantly updated with bought or stolen alien technology.
Despite the fear or perhaps because of the plague, the practice of harvesting is thriving within Nisseri culture more than ever. To support themselves financially, they will often harvest specific parts to sell, such as Theros tentacles, and often sell their extractions in slave markets.
The Pathosians
A cruel, pleasure obsessed race, the Pathosians, like the Fey, also earned their place in human mythology, with a much darker twist. The Pathosians are reminiscent of devils in mythology, possessing dark red skin, elongated canines, and horns. These horns are straight, swept back along the side of their heads. Their hair color is dark, black, dark brown, even a deep blood red in some families. Pathosians have seven digits on each hand and foot, tipped with thick claws. Their eye color in contrast is usually vivid, bright hues of green, purple, even orange. Noses and mouths are similar in structure to humans but with sharper lines, more pronounced angles. Smaller horns protrude from their elbows, hip bones, and along their spine. Female Pathosians possess four breasts, two set under two, as they bear four to six children at once. Surprisingly, humans and Pathosians are biologically compatible, though parbred children are hard to pick out as Pathosian DNA is very dominant.
Pathosian society is devoted to the pursuit and act of pleasure, they are emotion feeders and manipulators. The absorption of intense emotions, positive or negative, provides them an orgasmic high. They are known for orgies, torture, or a perverse combination of the two. Their home world, Anaon, boasts a thriving slave market, trading with the Nisseri and Barlok mercs to maintain a constant slave population as their pleasure seeking methods can have a high body count. Though they use humans as slaves, Pathosians admire human culture and history, specifically the Ancient Greek Empire of Old Earth. The Pathosians frequented Earth a great deal during this time in history, admiring Greek society so much, they modeled their own society after it.
The Barlok
A militaristic society, the Barlok once held the position as peacekeepers of the galaxy. However their overzealous persecution of the human race revealed the corruption seeping through their society. Much of the Barlok empire has fallen into ruin, it is estimated over ¾ of their multi-planet empire now subsists as a mercenary culture. While many are hired on as bounty hunters, mercs, and soldiers of fortune, most Barlok live a life rife with extreme violence and cruelty. The few planets that still adhere to the Honor Bound code of living are vastly outnumbered, there does not seem to be a great enough push to revive the majority of Barlok society.
The Barlok have a unique anatomy, with four arms and six legs. These limbs are strong, well muscled with joints built to swivel rather than pivot. The Barlok have a wide range of movement that make them especially lethal in unarmed combat. Adapting to survive an extreme environment, their six chambered heart keeps blood pumping to their limbs in even the coldest weather. A multi-chambered stomach allows for food to be stored and digested slowly, the Barlok often consume a huge meal then go for weeks without eating if they have to. The Barlok have two sets of eyes, one set designed for high focus, close distance are located beneath a larger set made for great distances. They have short snouts with three small nostrils that detect heat signatures along with scents. Ears are small, close to their skulls. Their large mouths contain two rows of triangular teeth and proboscis-like tongues capable of ejecting stomach acid as a defense mechanism. They are omnivorous by nature, with a lean towards meat as it is the most available food source in their environment. All the planets of the Barlok empire possess severe arctic tundra climates, therefore the Barlok possess a thick fur coat, feather soft to the touch. A rather morbid practice among the Barlok is the use the pelts of their ancestors to insulate their homes, protecting their young from the cold. Traditionally they were a waste nothing culture, though this practice has fallen out of favor in the mercenary communities. As a race, even among those who have fallen out of the Honor Bound way of life, the Barlok are considered cunning, usually honorable to their vows, brilliant tacticians, and agile fighters.
Worlds
New Earth 6
Humanity's newest home. Divided into six massive territories, New Earth strives to hang on to the human identity. Despite trade with other worlds, NE6 is very isolated, the territory of Jamestown is even cut off from the other city/states. The environment of NE6 is highly reminiscent of Old Earth, complete with seasons and even snow, the first planet since Old Earth humans found that has winters. Humans find themselves content here, believing they can ignore the rest of the galaxy.
Anaon- the Pathosian Home World
Through their great admiration of Ancient Greek culture, Anaon has morphed into a melding of ancient and new. Architecture, art, clothing, even currency, is modeled off a human civilization that existed eons ago. The Pathosians thought this society was perfectly designed for the pursuit of pleasure so they grafted it's likeness onto their own technology. From the filth ridden slave markets of the commons to the metallic inlaid columns in the homes of the nobles, Anaon, like its citizens, is a mix of harsh and lovely, cruel and soft.
New Earth 5
The Fey guided humans to the planet known as New Earth 5. The planet was a puzzle to human scientists. It defied the logistics of a common ecosystem. Instead of a balance of seasons, or predator-prey interplay, New Earth 5 was a planet of mild temperatures at all times, plants that constantly grew, and while many docile species existed, predators were scarce. What surprised scientists even more was the atmosphere consisted of the perfect combination of elements for humans. Almost like the planet was made for them.
The Veil- The Fey Home World
Actually a trio cluster of planets, relatively small, who orbit in sync around a moon. The moon is inhabited by creatures who life cycle is no more than ten years. Their culture and development are similar to Earth's 15th century. The Fey who visit the moon often are revered as living gods among the creatures, who the Fey call the Elvin.
The Veil is so named for its constant cloud covering, the trio of planets so close to each other, they share an atmospheric pull between them. Cloud vapors move between the three planets like a veil, filtering the sunlight over their lush green planet so it sparkles in the sky.
