Roommates
Nicolette immediately took Amy's hand and stormed inside the room. "Happy now, Tommy?"
Amaya took a quick look around their room before nudging Nicolette. "There's a third bed..."
Ebony walked in and stood next to a frowning Nicolette. "I'm in here too. May as well, since I'm the only girl left.." She cleared her throat.
Thomas pinched the bridge of his nose. "Fine, what the hell..." He mumbled. He turned to look at Edward, but found he had already claimed a small room... With only one bed.
Edward smirked. "That leaves you and Mike in that room over there." He winked at Nicolette, who snorted and gave him a thumbs up.
Thomas was boiling with rage. "F-Fine." He managed out coolly. "Excellent."
Micro glared at Edward as he followed Thomas to their room. "You are so dead." He growled. Edward gulped and sank back into his room.
Micro threw his duffel bag onto the right bed. He watched Thomas place his things on the other bed carefully. "Don't you have your own room here? What's the use of moving in here with me? I mean, wouldn't it make more sense if I bunked with waterworks and you stayed in your own room?"
Thomas huffed. "My dad thought it would be better if I got familiar with my teammates." He said slowly.
"Familiar? Like we'd see each other naked?" Micro snorted a bit, but quickly hid his face.
Thomas rolled his eyes."You know what I meant." He sighed. "Maybe it's for the best. I've never met anyone around my age before, except for the kids in the orphanage. That was a long time ago though..." Thomas rubbed his neck, raising at brow at Micro, who had his mouth open slightly. "What?"
"... You've never met anyone your age too?" Micro asked softly. He watched Thomas nod. "I was always locked inside Borg Industries. The programmers all thought I was vulnerable... I-I'm a newer experiment, you see, so they never trusted me with the outside world. They thought I could be hacked at any moment..." He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. "My parents are probably scared for me right now. This is my first time in the outside world..."
Thomas looked down. "I'm sorry... At least I had the choice of leaving, and I never did... That must have been terrible to go through.."
Micro huffed. "Yeah. It was." He turned to his side and put in his earbuds, resting.
Thomas sighed and opened his book. This was going to be a long night.
