Gouge

Better my eye

than all of me in Hell

Better my arm

than eternal catastrophic harm

Danger Will,

robbing something

precious and eternally made

Gouge to the eye

orbital ejection

Hack to the arm

extremity projection

Save to the soul

Will perfection

This may seem extreme, but the language is inspired by Jesus' words Himself in the Sermon on the Mount:

If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell. [Matthew 5:29-30]

Just as Jesus was not advocating physical mutilation, but rather an act of the will, so too I implore us to abstain from anything on this earth that tempts us away from Almighty God. Jesus is warning us to stay away/keep out.
