The moon was hanging low, as the birds flew across the dark blue sky of midnight. A young girl felt a shiver go down her spine as the wind started to howl. Hurriedly she turned down a dark pathway, glaring at the broken signs, she had a bad feeling as the odour of rotting food and decay lingered in the air.

Sticky white cobwebs covered the alleyway in eerie patterns; mammoth sized cocoons lay about, reaching from the ground to the tops of the trees.There was a noise from behind her as suddenly a large dark figure emerged. There was a creepy hissing sound as leg after leg emerged from behind the shadows. Raging white circles started to appear from within the shadows, only for her to realise these were the monster'seyes. A spider, a gigantic spider stood before the girl, its eyesbulging out of it's face with anger and small spike like needles protruding from it's skin. It stood, staring at the girl; waiting. The young girl stood with wide eyes, frozen in fear, staring at the creature which stood before her, blocking her only exit.
