Percy rang the doorbell and waited. He had to make sure he looked his best as the moment desperately called for it. He looked at the name plate at the wall. It read 'Roseline Miller'.

'Ofcourse' percy thought.

Within a minute the door was answered and out came the gorgeous hypnotic goddess dressed in a red, one piece lace backless long dress. No one could've looked more beautiful that night.

The fact that the true epitome of beauty, something so divine and enchanting was standing right in front of him in this materialistic world was hard to believe and everytime she averted her gaze shying away his heart skipped a beat. Now he had witnessed two most happening things in this world.

He could neither move nor speak for he was spellbound by the creation of god that paralleled the beauty of gods itself. The crimson color never seemed so intriguing to him as it did now. Every thought in his mind was a poem aching to be spilled in papers before they fade away just like the cherry blossoms.

Finally Ross decided to break the awkward silence. "Percy ? Are you going to say something ?"

Percy snapped out from his dream like state and before he could say anything he quoted, "The words the happy say are paltry melody but those the silent feel are beautiful" He knew he just quoted Emily Dickinson, a famous American poetess but he didn't care. He just stood there smiling without a care in this world while Ross surmised the beauty of the words Percy said.

Suddenly every thought in his mind stopped as Ross leaned in and kissed him. -When was the last time he felt in heaven. Ah! Just now- As their lips touched like two broken pieces of glass fitting each other exactly the feeling was something that he and only he could describe. And as their lips parted it was like his life had been sucked away before his eyes but it did help him to come back to his senses.

"Those were the longest 5 seconds of my life." Percy said as he tried to comprehend everything that just happened.

"Mine too." Ross exclaimed hesitatingly. The redness on her cheeks was still visible as were on Percy's.

Percy stretched his hand to Ross. "Come now or else I'll be standing here all night." Ross gently took his hand and as he walked her to the car it seemed like an eternity that would never come to pass with her hand on his.

As they drove to the city's famous inn Percy told her how the butcher threatened him that he would demote him and give his office to John. Ross couldn't help but laugh. "So that's why you were ticked off when I mentioned john."

"No. It's just that he is a pompous fat bellied liar who only knows buttering." Percy squinted his face as if irritated and this made Ross laugh even harder.

"Oh! I made you laugh ? That's a good sign." Percy said with a slight hint of a smile.

As they reached the inn Percy got out of the car, opened the door for Ross and offered her his left hand trying to be as chivalric as he could. After that he escorted her inside and pulled the chair for her to which Ross politely inclined. "You know you are being awfully nice today." Ross said.

"Think of it as an investment. I do not want to loose my assistant." Percy retorted as he sat on his chair.

Every eye was on Ross admiring her and it wasn't hidden from Percy who was a little jealous. "You know this situation actually reminds me of Eric Clapton's song." Of all the days Percy was being really witty that day.

"Which song ?" Ross asked with a little curiosity.

" 'You look wonderful tonight' " That was the song indeed. One which he had always wished to dedicate to the woman he falls in love with.

"Love ? Really ? What am I doing ? Is this what people call being in love ? Snap out of it you dumbass. Just because she kissed you doesn't mean it has to be love. But why does my heart refuses to calm down ?" Percy was lost in his thoughts again but soon shifted all his attention to Ross as her eyes fluttered with a tinge of rosiness on her cheeks.

"If that's one way to compliment me then I'm flattered. You know I've always wished for someone to dedicate me that song or atleast mention to me on a gleeful ocassion such as this." Ross's smile grew wider.

"Oh damn right it's love." Percy recklessly mumbled out.

"Did you say something ?"Ross asked.

"No. Nothing at all. Let's order something to eat. I'm hungry." Percy grabbed his stomach. "This baby needs food."

So they ordered their respective choices and Percy made few jokes about how he and his mom fought over him not growing up but he kept the 'potential girlfriend' part secret for the better.

As they finished their dinner and bill was paid they walked out of the inn. Everybody's eyes were still on Ross and Percy couldn't do anything but sigh.

"The lipstick. It's still on your lips." Ross pointed out to Percy and then took out her handkerchief. "Here. Let me wipe it."

"I can't believe I was wearing your lipstick for the entire time. But I don't know why I don't feel embarrassed." As Ross wiped her lipstick from his lips Percy kindly obliged looking at her all the time until their eyes met and Percy gasped hard.

"I want to show you something." Percy said as he reached out his hand to Ross.

"We aren't going in the car ?" Ross asked a bit confused.

"Come on now. A walk in the night is the second best thing. What I want to show you isn't that far away." Percy answered.

"Second best thing ? So what's the first best thing ?" Ross was inquisitive.

"You'll see." Percy smiled.

Two celestial souls walking in the moonlight and only silence to accompany. Silence which could be better understood than paltry words is truly a phenomenal feeling.

Finally Percy decided to break the silence. "Do you trust me Ross ?"

"Well, on a scale of one to ten. No. I don't" Ross chuckled as Percy squinted his face.

"Anyway there's something I wanted to talk to you about. Will you listen to me ?"

"I've always listened to you Percy. Haven't I ? You can tell me all your secrets." Ross said.

"Remember when I was telling you about the voices the other day and you made a joke about it ? Well, it seems that just wasn't my imagination."

"Don't tell me you saw a ghost." Ross taunted.

"Ha ha. I didn't. But I saw something far more enthralling. I saw Lucifer. The LUCIFER. " Percy emphasised on the name widening his eyes.

Ross burst out laughing.

"Oh I believe you alright." She couldn't stop laughing.

"Roseline Miller. You are-" As Percy was about to complete the sentence he realised they had reached the place already.

"It's beautiful." Ross exclaimed as the glee on her eyes was perceptible.

The moon and stars were shining down on the stream flowing down the slightly sloppy embankment carpeted with lush green grass. The lamps on the roadside lightened the stream like the morning sun and the swans bathed themselves sprinkling the water drops all over. A small table with two small chairs around was arranged and lit up with a candle in middle and small lights dangled above a makeshift tent. A small wooden bridge over the stream only made the scenery more perfect.

Percy watched Ross thoughtfully as she kept grasping everything her eyes could hold at the moment.

"Come here." Percy said to Ross as he took her hand and together they sat around the table.

"So what would you like to have ?" Percy asked.

"I don't know. I'm just speechless, Percy. How did you-?" Ross was perplexed beyond her senses.

"Let's just say I made few arrangements. I'm not that lame you see. So what would you like to have." Percy felt captivated by her innocence and it made him smile.

"A juice will suffice. Any juice. I'm already full. Thank you." Ross answered still thinking about beyond her imagination experience.

"Then I'll have a juice too." Percy said.

And to her command a guy dressed in a waiter's suite came walking with juice for both of them.

"You had everything planned out. Right ?" It was Ross.

"Yep." Percy winked.

They sipped their drinks quietly looking at the stars.

"Do you often watch the stars ?" Percy asked looking at the distant cosmic mess.

"Every night. What about you ?" Answered Ross.

"Yeah I do. In fact, I'm looking at one right now." Percy was again looking at Ross. Mr. Lazy pants was turning into Romeo again.

"Careful what you wish for Mr. Romeo." Ross's heart was racing.

"I do not wish for anything. You are my genie after all." Percy's hand was on her hand and as they clasped each other's hand both leaned in to kiss. A kiss on a starry moonlight beside a beautiful crystal clear stream. If that's not perfect I don't now what is.

-Ahem Ahem- now I don't want to meddle in their private matters but some things are better when left to the imagination.

So after the passionate kiss and an hour of sweet talk Percy drove her home. Standing at the door it seemed both didn't want to go home.

"I had a great day Percy Hunter. I'll never forget any of it." And with those words she kissed him on the cheeks.

"I had a great day too Roseline Miller." Percy said touching his cheek where Ross just kissed. He kept looking at the retreating figure of Ross until she was inside her house.

"I'll be damned." percy sighed affectingly but with a smile on his face.

Suddenly his phone started ringing. It was his mother.

"Damned indeed."
