Dinner was ready so Skylar called everyone into the dining room."Looks great!" Jacob said as his eyes pointed out every detail to him.
"Thank you, Jacob." Skylar replies to him, throwing a wink my way.
Everyone dug into the food, enjoying it all. Each bite, every last one.
I caught Ellie glancing at me worriedly,"Scar, are you alright? Something feels different." She asked, and I smiled.
"Yes I'm fine, what feels different?" I said, their faces were priceless.
"You got the power of words. Who gave you them?"
"Apollo did" I state.
"How did he do that?"
"Through a kiss."
"What did he look like after it all?"
"He was blushing." What was up with all these questions?
The next thing she muttered was,"Really, Dad? She is sixteen."
But after that, dinner went by smoothly, no more questions were asked.
