When we walked back home, I stayed quiet as if I was the same girl a few days ago.
The one who couldn't speak. But wanted to have a voice but was always suffocated when I tried to use it.
But when I'm with Skylar or Isaia, I have a voice, even if I can't use it. They know what I want to say even if I stay silent.
