It's almost the end of summer, August 29th, 2018, is the exact date. It's too early, around 6am and I wonder to myself why the heck I'm up so early? I look around and realize the room is still dark and the only light is from my phone buzzing like crazy. I pick up my phone and realize it's Tory calling.

"Yes Tory?"
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT TODAY IS?!"
I tried to remember, but it was so early I couldn't comprehend what was going on with Tory.
"Uhhh" I took a long pause, giggled nervously. "What's today?"
"OUR FRIENDIVERSARY!"
I looked at the clock, holy, now I remember why I'm up, to get her present today as she's coming over for dinner.
"I can't believe I forgot! I'm so sorry!" I giggle, again, with nervousness. Hoping she won't be mad.
"It's okay Emily, no worries, I sorta forgot too. I use my calendar app,without it, I have no idea what today would be."
We both giggle together. I couldnt wait for today. As soon as she hung up, I got out of bed, got into the shower, turning the shower knob slightly to the left, waiting for the water to warm up, I closed the shower certain, put on in my feelings by drake and washed my hair, body and face. I got out and the whole mirror was covered with steam. I wrapped my purple towel around me and walked to my room, closing my bedroom door I looked at the poster of why don't we on the wall. I thought to myself if I could only see them. I got dressed in my royal blue romper, might I add, it has pockets! I decided to lay in bed for awhile, as I woke up early and talked to Tory for about 20 minutes about nothing but her. See with Tory, everything is surrounded around her and everything has to be about her, but I love her deeply, as a friend, it's just difficult to not have a single word be said out of your own mouth. Tory and I have been cheerleaders since elementary school, we both have had our horrible downs and our amazing highs. Just things are changing and I don't know what to do.
