New Blight
See what I did there? With the title? Huh? No one? Ok I'm sorry.

Toukenai POV
That night, when I walked into Yato's room to guard him, he was curled up in a little ball on the bed. I heard him whimper, and I saw blight form on his face. I ran to the nearest shrine and got a big bottle of purification water. I decided to teleport back. I grabbed a cloth and soaked it. The blight was black, and it spread fast. I did this. I placed the cloth over his blighted cheek. I shook him awake
"Yato!" He groaned and began to writhe. The blight did disappear. I accidentally poured some of the water on my skin. It stung like fire, melting away some of the phantom inside me. I wiped away the water, frantically treating Yato's blight.
"Yato, please wake up!" I shook him once most of the blight was gone. He wouldn't wake up.
"Poor Yabuko. He just wouldn't wake up, would he?" Nora was sitting on the windowsill.
"You! What have you done to him?"
"Oh, Okuni-"
"Call me Toukenai."
"Oh, Toukenai, you are so oblivious. You know it wasn't you that did this."
"What do you mean? I could have easily blighted him without either of us noticing."
"It was me."
"I wanted to assume the best and hope for the worst, but now I'll swap that around." I narrowed my eyes at the abnormal nora. She clearly doesn't know what Yato means to me. I slowly pulled a dagger from my arm, the glassy weapon sliding out of my wrist.
"Toukenai, you do know that your fighting style relies too much on your high speed and agility." I raised my eyebrows.
"So?"
"It makes you easy to predict" she was behind me, sitting beside Yato. I slashed at her and growled.
"Fine, I'll leave." She smiled mischievously, backing towards the window, and leapt out.
Yato woke up soon, clutching his arm. I made him let me treat the blight. He shrunk away when I applied the water, his skin burning to get rid of the blight, as well as my own. I tucked him into the bed once again, and Daikoku peeked in.
"I thought I heard someone." He was carrying two cups of coffee. He leaned over, and handed one to me, smiling.
"What happened in here?" He glanced around the room. I had left the cloths folded near the bed, as well as a bottle of water.
"I blighted him." A tear ran down my face.
"Hey-" Daikoku leaned down and tried to reassure me that I hadn't, and I pushed his hand away. He flinched, and a bit of blight was on his finger. "See. I'm nothing but trouble." I stood up, and pushed a cloth onto the black blight.
"Hey, it's ok." He smiled at me. "You didn't do this, it was your emotions wavering that did. Like right now, you were experiencing a lot of emotion, like love." He patted me on the shoulder and walked out of the room "Good luck on the night watch."
"Thanks for the coffee, Daikoku." I took a sip. It was very good. I shuddered. What- what was in this?
"D-daikoku, what's in this coffee?" I gasped, my throat was burning. I fell to my knees. Daikoku ran into the room, and kneeled beside me. He looked genuinely worried. I coughed, and blood came out of my mouth and nose. I was losing consciousness, my vision couldn't decide whether to be black or white.
"What happened?" Daikoku tried to keep me from falling, his hands resting on my shoulders. I coughed again, blood running down the front of my clothes.
"Agh-" I gasped for air.
"Toukenai! Stay with me!" He shook me slightly. But I had succumbed to the poison. My vision turned to night.

Yato POV
I woke up when I heard Toukenai gasping through blood for air. I jumped out of bed and saw Daikoku kneeling beside Toukenai.
She was doubled over, one hand clutching her neck. Her other hand was grasping the bedpost, her knuckles white.
"Yato! Help me here!" Daikoku was frantically trying to gather the god into his arms. I ran over, and I saw a cup of coffee spilled on the floor. I gasped, and remembered. Her skin seared when she touched purification water. Maybe it was in the coffee.
"Daikoku?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you make this coffee?"
"Yeah."
"Did you put purification water in it?"
"No! I know that would hurt her! She's part phantom!"
I helped him lift her. She was still coughing, blood spraying from her mouth. We carried her into a work room, and placed her on an old workbench. As soon as we set her down, she stopped, her muscles going slack. I reached over to her neck, and tried to feel for a heartbeat. There was barely one, just a single thump every fifteen seconds. But she wasn't breathing. I placed my hands on her chest, and they glowed. She jolted at the touch, and sucked in a huge breath. She coughed, and began to breathe. Her eyelids fluttered, and I placed my hand on her face. She moved her hand to touch mine.
"Ya-to" she groaned through her own blood.
Her hand fell from mine, and her eyes fluttered shut. I leaned over her, and tears ran from my eyes. I placed my head on her chest, and hugged her. She wasn't dead, but would be soon unless I helped her. I planted a kiss on her cheek, and pulled away. I felt my eyes turn to slits.
"Daikoku........" I turned to the regalia, and he flinched away slightly. "You always hurt me when I talk to your lady. How about some pain for you? I quite prefer kicking to being kicked." I pushed the terrified regalia against the wall by his throat, and kicked him in the stomach. He gasped at the impact, and then fell to the floor.
"I-I didn't- do it." He said between gasps for air.
"Well then who did!?!" I pinned him again
"I-I don't know." He lowered his head. I let him go.
"You're telling the truth."
