Lyssa's POV

The searchers came back yet again with no results.

"Poor Bianca," Emily said sadly.

This was the end of the second day she and Marcus had been missing, and they still hadn't found them.

"I can't believe they haven't been found yet!" I said angrily. "They can't possibly have gone that far!"

"Yeah, but there's a lot of woods out there," Emily pointed out. "And they're not really sure which way they went in the first place."

I sighed. Emily made a good point. To try and distract myself, I stared out the window. In the distance, I saw big storm clouds. I pointed them out to Emily.

"Are they coming this way?" she asked.

"Maybe," I replied.

"I hope they're not," Emily said. "We don't know if Bianca and Marcus have shelter, and I don't want them to be all wet and cold."

I didn't answer her, and just continued to stare out the window. I hope that wherever they are, Bianca and Marcus are safe.
