Lauren's POV

As soon as the searchers came back I ran to them.

"Did you find them?" I asked, craning my neck for any sign of Marcus and Bianca. The lead searched shook his head no.

"Night team, move out!" he called. I sighed and went back to my seat. Bianca's two friends, Lyssa and Emily, walked over to me and I shook my head sadly. They sat down next to me.

"It's not your fault, you know," Emily said suddenly.

"What?"

"Marcus and Bianca's disappearance," Emily replied. "It's not your fault." I smile at her sadly, and she smiles back. Lyssa takes my hand, and together we sit, staring out the window into the night. And although Emily told me not to blame myself, something inside of me keeps telling me that it's my fault.
