Since his first breath, he was expected of something.
When he first started talking, more like incoherent babbling noises, he was still expected of something. Even when he began walking, then running, climbing, then reading, writing and playing.
Most children are expected of something like how to act and what to do, but this boy was different. Everyone knew that from the moment his mother announced his existence.
At a young age he could tell what they wanted, what they looked for everytime they saw him, but it really wasn't him.
They saw an image created by those same expectations, those desires and stereotypes. They saw an image they wanted to see not the actual child standing in front of them, looking at them with expressionless eyes and a straight posture that looked utterly unfitting on such a young child.
