When creating characters please give them bitches some relatable traits and features. 😂💀 I'm serious!

I don't want to read about Gigi Hadid getting Zayn.

I'm not as gorgeous as her and that takes away the entire FEEL of the story because nothing is genuine. To me. I don't know about others but if there isn't something that I can relate to with the character then I'm out!

Every has flaws and they're not BONE STRAIGHT PERFECT!

I'm tired of reading:

1) Long wavy brown hair
2) Tan Skin
3) Beach Body
4) Six Pack
5) Greek God -_-
6) Green/Blue Orbs (WTF ARE ORBS?)
7) Rosy Cheeks
8) ETC!!!

Have you ever met anyone in your life that was that perfect?

Wait!

Take away the fangirling moments and actually look at that person. Look at Zayn, Harry and Nina Dobrev.

I'm not going to say anything about their flaws because I don't want to face any Directioners (I love you guys)! But they aren't all that perfect when you see them as a normal person.

There has been a time when I was at the grocery store and I saw this cute guy standing by the eggs and looking amazing. Those are moments in a story where you use exaggeration about there appearance but as you get further into the story and your characters come to life, you show how they're not so perfect.

There's nothing wrong with exaggeration for that ONE TIME.

The guy can be tall, muscular with wavy hair but is extremely pale with normal brown eyes. It's boring when you say, "His dazzling hazel orbs, classic hair cut, broad shoulders, full lips, chiseled chin and OOP he's has a six pack too." BORING BORING BORING! Then here comes, "He was like a Greek God!"

*Exits Book*
*Reports*
"This book irritated my soul. Someone save and please bless this author with creativity."
*Removes*
"Onto the next cliché."

Literally you guys! They are EVERYWHERE and I'm afraid that there will be no more extravagant and jaw dropping events in stories anymore!

To fix this, look at your friends. Look at a stranger. What makes that stranger beautiful and what's makes them human. (nobody's ugly in this world!) By human, I mean what makes them like everyone else. Point out their flaws.

This is why you keep your trusty notebook and pen on you because you can right down what you see.

Make two columns! One side for beauty and what's makes that person stand out, and then the other side is what makes them human, or in other worlds what's their ultimate flaw.

Flaws are usually big nose, small lips, small eyes etc.,

OH!!! Oh yea!

NOT EVERY BEAUTIFUL CHARACTER HAS TO HAVE LONG ASS HAIR.

Look at Adelaine Kane or Amandla Sternberg. Beauty women! Amber Rose, Scarlett Johansson, Miley Cyrus all of them! Long hair doesn't make you beautiful. Short hair isn't a flaw. Dora has been rocking that damn bob for I don't know how long and she looks good walking across a bridge!

Same for men. Avan Jogia and Harry Styles have long hair. They look smoking hot. Short, classic cuts isn't the only hairstyle that makes a guy appealing.

And a model-like woman who wears a size zero isn't the only beauty. The plus size woman are amazing also! Jordyn Woods! Look at her!

Lastly, brunettes and blondes aren't the only spieces of women in the world either. There's Indias, Africans and Latina women also! Women are beautiful make them feel beautiful. You can't go wrong when you do this. I promise!

Be realistic and your novel will gain a lot of points on connection.

BE REALISTIC TO MAKE THE READER ATTACHED TO YOUR CHARACTER.
