Got some domestic chapters of this because I'm so behind on all my fics at the moment 🙄

Clara stood holding Maia on her hip chatting away to Anna as the men lifted the boxes and carried them out of Annas flat and into the moving van. "You know you two could help?" James said to them.

"We could." Clara hummed.

"But we're not." Anna giggled playing with Maia and chatting away to class about stuff going on in their lives.

"Women." The Doctor scoffed picking up some boxes.

"Am I right?" James laughed as they both went outside and started loading the truck up.

"You know we have to go over to my old apartment to get somethings? I was wondering if you could take Maia for the afternoon. I don't want her near him for now." Clara explained to Anna placing Maia on the floor next to some of her toys.

"Yeah sure we'll have fun." Anna said stroking Maia's brown curls as the little girl played with her stuffed bunny rabbit.

"After this, I'll be out of your hair I promise." Clara said to Anna feeling so bad for staying at hers for two weeks and then dumping Maia on her for the afternoon.

"Don't worry clar, I don't mind. We hardly spoke when you were with him and I missed you, we have catching up to do." Anna explained as she lifted Maia up from where she was holding her arms in the air and placed the girl on her lap.

"Well, as long as you're sure... Everything should be in this bag, nappies, dummies, blankets etc. Her formula is on side but she should eat normal food if she's hungry. Like cut up an apple or carrot sticks or something." Clara explained standing up and pointing out everything.

"I know where everything is Clara. Just go." Anna laughed before Clara quickly kissed Maia's forehead and left out the front door to meet the doctor and go to her old apartment.

"I still don't think you should be going in there. He hurt you, you shouldn't be near each other." The Doctor lectured Clara as they walked up to the apartment door.

"I can handle myself, you're only hear to help me Carry things. I can protect myself you know." She rolled her eyes knocking on the door.

"You have a key. Why are you knocking?" The Doctor asked a bit confused.

"It's rude to just barge in." Clara smirked as the door opened slowly.

"Where's Maia?" Harry said straight away and it freaked Clara out and realised that not bring her was a good idea.

"Not here." Clara grumbled. "I came to get my stuff."

"Why do you need to get your stuff? Just stop all this nonsense and come back home. You can't take Maia away from me." Harry scoffed as Clara had already barged past him and gone straight for Maia's room.

"You kicked me out if you don't remember? Look, we're not having this conversation. I'm not okay with you being around Maia at the moment. Prove to me you won't hurt her and maybe one day you'll get to see her." She said as the doctor followed behind her and Clara started to piles Maia's things into boxes and hand them to the Doctor to take down to the car.

"Well you're not taking her crib!" Harry shouted at her.

"Yes, I am." She said through gritted teeth. "You have no use for it now! Maia doesn't live here."

"She's my daughter too!"

"Really? Because was she your daughter when you never spent time with her? When you never once changed her nappy or fed her?" Clara said walking through to her old room to start boxing her things as she noticed the Doctor appeared again and she handed him some more boxes so he would go back downstairs for a bit.

"I did all of those things!" He shouted at her.

"Like once." Clara scoffed.

"Where are you going? Where can I come and see her?" Harry grabbed her arm on the way out.

"It's none of your business." She spat in his face.

"Tell me where the fuck you're staying Clara!" Harry screamed grabbing a hold of her wrists and throwing her backwards against the wall. She let out a small cry as he head hit the door with force and her back made the loud noise that alerted everyone.

"I'm not telling you. I'll come to you when I decide you can see her alright?" Clara said with a low voice scared if she shouted at him he'd grab her again.

"You alright?" The Doctor appeared at the door picking up the last few boxes.

"Yeah, let's go." She said picking up the finals box and closing the door.

"I will fucking find you." Harry screamed one the door was shut and Clara and the Doctor headed for the elevator they choose not to hear the screams coming from her old apartment.

"This place is so lovely." Anna said bring Maia in and letting her walk around the new flat. "It's really modern and cute as well." She described it as she walked around.

The kitchen was huge and Clara loved it. All new and modern and the bedrooms were a fair size too. They set up Maia's crib pretty much straight away knowing it was getting to dinner time and it was more important that her bed was ready.

They could always move Clara's bed in when Maia was asleep. Though in the end they managed to get everything in before dinner time. The bed, the wardrobe, the TV but no sofas yet because Clara couldn't afford that yet.

She'd already paid for a new bed and wardrobe. Her friend had given her the TV knowing Maia loves to watch her cartoons.

They planned a trip to ikea tomorrow to get all the kitchen essentials as cheaply as possible and for now, Clara was using some dining chairs she had been given to sit on in the lounge whilst watching tv, okay they aren't the comfiest things in the world but she had to make do.

"This place is really lovely and once we get all the furniture in it'll be beautiful." Clara explained to them as she showed and Anna and James around the flat.

Clara had onto bought the essentials, a bed and a wardrobe. Things she's needed immediately the rest came later.

"It's wonderful and James and I talked and we'd love to buy you and Maia here a moving in present. Maybe buy you a couch? And chair?" Anna said smiling at her.

"No don't be silly that's so much money." Clara laughed rolling her eyes a little embarrassed, she felt like a charity.

"Clara, you're a single mum now. I want to help, I'm your best friend and I want to be the bested auntie to Maia in the world that buys you guys your first sofa." Anna laughed.

"I really don't think--"

"No shh, we're buying it for you shut up." Anna joked nudging her and smiling at Maia as she walked across the room carrying her stuffed bunny under her arm happily babbling away to herself.
