Chapter 6
"Morning(!)" The Doctor joked as Clara walked into the living room at 7 o'clock that evening. Clara slumped onto the sofa still tired, even though her half an hour nap turned into a 3 hour nap. "I get back and see you fast asleep. Your slacking Clara."
"Ha-ha." Clara moaned putting her feet up on the rest of the sofa and lying down. "Where's Maia?" She asked, not asking about Harry.
"With Harry. They went for some fresh air." The doctor smiled glancing at Clara. "Harry seems a lot happier today. Better day at work I assume?" The doctor asked.
"Really?" Clara frowned turning her head to look at him.
"What...was he not in a good mood?" The doctor asked.
"It doesn't matter. If he's happy now, that all that matters... You know what I'm too tired to cook tonight, I'm thinking fish and chips?" Clara grinned glancing at the Doctor with the biggest smile she could form. He nodded replying with a big grin.
"You know just how to do it Oswald." He laughed switching the channel on the TV over to the news. Big mistake.
"A mysterious blue police box is to have been spotted in various places around London city, but never at the same time. It is said to have appeared and disappeared within 5 minutes at one location. The question is... Who's moving the strange box around and why? More on this later on."
"Hold on... I've seen that box. That blue box." Clara muttered. The doctor glanced across at her face, studying it as to what she meant. Had she remembered something? "Yeah it was parked at the end of the road the other day." Clara remembered.
"Ah." The doctor nodded along.
"Did you see it? You must have seen it! It was there, not a lot of people notice it but I thought you... You of all people are going to notice a blue box in the middle of the street. I was going to mention it to you when I got home, but I couldn't find you. You missed out." Clara explained.
"No, I uh I didn't see it. But it's just a blue box right? What harm can it do?" The doctor laughed.
"Your probably right. You never know though." Clara smirked resting her head back down on the sofa, too tired to hold it up by herself.
-------------------
How could she not remember. The TARDIS was even on TV. She saw it where he had landed it and still nothing... What had happened? Why won't she remember? He needed her to remember.
"Clara? That blue box..." The Doctor said standing the bathroom doorway as she'd just finished brushing her teeth.
"Yeah?" Clara laughed turning around. She looked perfect, the doctor thought so anyway, in her pyjama bottoms and tight blue strap top. She gave him that look, as if he was absolutely crazy, speaking another language.
"Have you seen it before?" The Doctor asked still holding the door frame and looking up and down at Clara. He was so curious about her. She was so different, yet so... The same.
"No."
He turned away automatically, too sad to look at her.
"I don't think so... I did feel like I recognised it from somewhere but doesn't everyone get that sometimes? I mean it's like deja vu... You've already seen it. Weird isn't it?" She rambled on like she usually liked to. Oh Clara.
"Yes. Deja vu. Absolutely..." He grinned quickly and then walked away into the spare room and Clara heard the lock shut the door.
"Curious." She thought.
--------------------
"Out the window... Never again what was I thinking." The doctor rambled on jumping down from the near by tree pulling a leaf off of his shoulder and frowning at it as he threw it behind him. He kept walking and walking until yes... The TARDIS.
Inside the blue box he threw his coat over the rails and then leant against the console. "Deja vu." He muttered to himself. "So she does remember."
He flew around the TARDIS flicking switches and pulling leavers, talking to himself. "I can't go back along her timeline. Not again. So what do I do?" He rambled on getting angry with himself.
Hours later, out of ideas and thoughts he sat in his box of a room back in Clara's flat. He was furious with himself. What. Happened.
-------------------
"Saturday finally." Clara the thought to herself as she rolled out of bed hearing Maia cry. Saturday was no different to any other day except Harry was around. Which meant when she was on her way to Maia that morning she was sent back to bed by Harry who, was feeling much better after some decent sleep, and demanded Clara went back to bed whilst he went and got Maia.
"Don't worry about it." Harry kissed her whilst moving her back to bed sleepily. "Go back to bed." He smiled as she laid back down. Clara turned over quite quickly and fell back to sleep within a minute.
--------------------
"Morning." Harry muttered kneeling down in front of Clara whilst she lay in her bed. "I got to say. You slept for a while, it is almost lunchtime." Harry told her. Clara smiled weakly and sat up slowly.
"Why didn't you wake me up? Maia must of been a nightmare." Clara moaned and groaned seeing Harry looking awfully tired.
"Don't worry about it Clara. You look after her all week, day and night. The least I can do is look after our child for one morning." Harry calmed her rather well.
"Has she had breakfast? Lunch? Did you change her? Please say you actually got her dressed. I know you think it's okay to lounge around in pyjamas all day but Maia already does that most days of the week. Weekends are suppose to be different." Clara panicked sitting up in bed and wrapping a dressing gown around her. She was cold as she was only in really short, shorts and a skinny top.
"Yes Clara. God, you'd think I hadn't been here for the first 10 months of our daughters life." Harry complained wrapping an arm around her waist and kissing her cheek.
"I'm sorry. I just panicked." Clara turned to face him and kissed his lips desperately. They hadn't kissed or properly hugged all week. It had been horrible. "Uh where's Maia now?" Clara broke away.
"She's in front room, in her high chair eating lunch and watching TV." Harry confirmed.
"With the Doctor?" Clara questioned.
"What do you mean?" Harry laughed as they moved together into the kitchen and then through into the living room.
"The Doctor... You know uh the guy that was staying with us?" Clara laughed as if her boyfriend was being absolutely mad in the fact that he could not remember him.
"He left Clara. I thought he told you. Last night he was gone when I check his room." Harry explained to her rather obviously. "Clara he did tell you...didn't he? I mean he stayed here for like a week, he didn't even thank you?" Harry complained as they settled on the sofa.
"No. He didn't say anything. I mean last night before I out Maia to bed he was going to tell me something, but he never did. I'm sure you've just made a mistake I mean the Doctor wouldn't just leave like that..." Clara was frowning in confusion at her hands, unsure what to think.
"Maybe he's just gone to the shops or something then this morning." Harry confirmed trying to comfort her.
"Yeah. Maybe."
