Looks: Thomas is small and very skinny, with pale skin, curly, dark brown hair, quite a few freckles on his face, and deep brown eyes.
Personality: He's very kind and caring, a real sweetheart and far too pure for this world, but he's extremely shy and timid most of the time. He's a selective mute, so he doesn't speak, limiting his means of communication because not everybody understands ASL. While he's bubbly and energetic, always putting others before himself and making sure they're okay before checking in on himself, he's not as happy as he always seems. On the inside, he's just a broken, scared child putting up a facade to paint over his true colors.
Likes: being alone, darkness, cats, chocolate, rainy days, looking at clouds, being in a car, fennec foxes
Dislikes: bullies, dogs, his powers, storms, rude people, people who make fun of him for not communicating normally, his disability
Powers: can control and manipulate shadows (they appear like an aura, sort of? Idk how to explain it, really)

Family: Bucky Barnes (adoptive father, "Papa"), Thalia Barnes (biological twin sister)
Backstory: He was born with his powers. His and Thalia's parents were killed in a car crash when they were two. It was dark and stormy out, and they wandered away unnoticed. After a while, they both fell asleep, but the next morning, they started crying for help, which alerted some nearby HYDRA agents, who captured them and took them back to the nearest base. They brutally abused them and trained him with their powers to be like them. One night when they were eight, they tried to escape but HYDRA caught them. They were about to kill the twins when the base was broken into by none other than James Buchanan Barnes, who was going against Fury's orders (he'd found out that Hydra had captured two little kids and couldn't just stand by). Bucky saved them and got them out safely, eventually officially adopting them since they had no family.

- Thomas has ADHD
- He really wants a cat (sometimes he'll have one, mostly it'll just be Alpine from the comics lol)
- He has glasses, but he never wears them because he always forgets
- He has certain code words, the way the Winter Soldier does
- NOTE BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE SEEM TO MIX THESE TWO UP: Thomas is MUTE. NOT deaf. He can hear just fine, but he can't speak. (I'm clarifying because one time I signed up for a Hunger Games applyfic with him and, I shit you not, he was the first to die because the author thought he was deaf and had him step off his pedestal too soon, and, well, we all know what that means.)
