We have tried our hardest to make this process as objective as possible; however, of course there are subjective qualities in reviewing a piece of literature. Therefore, we try our best to follow popular models of international publishing houses who only ever read a few chapters of your submitted works.

There will be two judges per category, who will judge on a number of different criteria. Their marks will then be averaged and, unfortunately, the lowest scoring works will be eliminated.

Round 1 - Judging first chapter/part

20 contestants start - The bottom 8 are eliminated

Round 2 - Judging second chapter/part

12 contestants start - The bottom 4 are eliminated

Round 3 - Judging third chapter/part

8 contestants start - The bottom 4 are eliminated

Round 4 - Judging fourth chapter/part

4 contestants start - 2 are eliminated and the third place winner is decided

Round 5 - Judging fifth chapter/part

Two contestants start - The first and second place winners are decided
