burden
i lay my head rest upon the clouds,
and appear only to be cursed infallible fatigue.
but un-appear my brain's a mountain,
dynamite packed inside:
boulders running at the weight of dopamine.
chemical waste fell like rivers,
acid rain down the side of mount everest,
and left cloudy the eyes that don't see.
but droughts run us dry,
rocks crack and leave dust,
and i, coated, wait again for puffy sky.
