Chapter 4

Aug. 6, 2011 9pm, Rainy

I stayed at Spencer’s place since my Mother left me alone at home. We went to his room; his room was small and was full of books.

I love it! It looked so cute!

Spencer grabbed a bottle of strawberry juice from the fridge then he gave it to me.

I was lying on his bed. He caressed my left cheek then smiled at me. He kissed my left cheek which made me giggle a bit.

“I love you so much Anya. You know that right? No matter what happens I’ll always be by your side okay?”

“Why are you saying that? Of course I know that. I love you more Spencer okay? I love you, saranghae~” I said as I was clinging onto his arms.

“Whenever something nice would happen between you and me, it would always rain so hard.”

“And I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I guess that’s… uhm, lucky?”

“I’ve never told you about this… but uhm, I love the rain. I feel so happy and alive whenever it’s raining.” Spencer said while staring outside the window.

“It’s funny how random things could happen on rainy days. I met you on a rainy day and our first kiss was on a rainy day. What else could happen tod --”

Spencer was cut off by his cough. He was coughing so hard and blood started to come out from his mouth. My heart was beating so fast. I hugged him so tight as tears formed in my eyes. I was so worried about him.

“Please sit down and rest okay? I’ll call your mom so that she can drive us to the hospital” I said to him. He asked me if I could get a glass of water for him and I said yes and ran down to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

When I got back to his room, Spencer was lying on the floor. I dropped the glass and immediately ran to him. I tried to call him out but he wasn’t responding. My heart was beating so fast and tears started to form, I called his brother to help me carry him to the car while his mother was starting the engine and we hurriedly brought him to the nearest hospital.
