Today is the auditions for The X Factor, I'm really nervous about performing but I have been practicing for 14 years. I get out of bed and I have a shower to be ready, I get out of the shower and I get dry and I put on my clothes for today.

I walk downstairs and I see my mom, my dad, my older brother and sister awake and waiting for me, we all walk outside heading to the car and we drove off to the auditions.

~30 minutes later~

We get to The X Factor Arena, we find parking, we get out of the car, we walked to the line and we wait in line before I can sign up. I signed up for the auditions and I get my number for the audition.

~2 hours later~

I waited for 2 hours to go on stage to perform.

"Alright now, your next" The stage guy told me and I walk on stage holding the microphone

"Hello" The judge lady replied

"Hi" I replied

"And what is your name?" The lady asked

"My name is Selena Morava" I replied

"Are you from America?" The judge guy name Simon Cowell asked

"Yes, well I'm from Corpus Christi, Texas" I replied back

"How old are you anyway?" The judge lady Cheryl Cole asked 

"I'm 20 years old, I turned 20 on April 16th." I replied

"And what are you going to sing for us today?" Cheryl asked

"I'm going to sing 'No Me Queda Mas' by my wonderful cousin Selena" I replied

"And why do you want to sing that song?" Cheryl asked

"Well it's because I lost her when I was 4 years old on March 31st 1995 and it was really hard for me and my family," I explain

"Wow, that must of been hard" Cheryl replied

"It was" I replied

"Well, good luck and take it away" Cheryl replied and she smiles

"Thank you" I replied back and I smiled back and I get ready to sing

Fue lo más bello....." I sang as tears formed in my eyes and everyone claps and cheers and I finish singing and I started crying as I see everyone clapping and cheering including the judges.

"I have to say, that was amazing, you have a powerful voice to use for singing and for speaking. That was amazing and I'm sure that your family are really proud of you, including your cousin, well done." Simon Cowell replied and I mouthed 'thank you'

"That performance was incredible, you have a beautiful voice for this competition and well done." Louis Walsh replied

"Thank you" I replied with a smile

"I have to say, Selena that, you are the most beautiful girl that no other girl could sing like you because what we saw was an audition that can pull it off and you did really well, so well done" Dannii Minogue replied

"Thank you" I replied

"Selena, that was amazing, especially for you losing your cousin, you have the most beautiful voice ever, like what Louis, Dannii and Simon said and I agree with them that you did amazing, well done," Cheryl replied

"Thank you." I replied

"You have a yes from me" Cheryl replied

"You have two yeses from me" Dannii replied

"You have three yeses from me" Louis replied and there was a moment of silence.

"And one final fat all-mighty yes from me," Simon replied and I jumped up and down so shocked and surprised still crying.

"That's it we'll see you at Bootcamp" Cheryl replied

"Thank you so much" I replied between my cries and I ran towards my family and I hugged my family so happy that I am in Bootcamp and my whole family cried. We walk out of the arena holding hands so happy that I am in Bootcamp, and next is the Bootcamp. I know that my cousin Selena would be looking down at me and think 'I am so proud of you.' Because I know she would be happy for me to follow her footsteps and follow my heart as well.
