Possession
We're in the dark basement. Dim light of a single light bulb shines throughout the room, illuminating the cold concrete floor. "Hey. I knew you'd show up. Rainbow Blood, you ready? Melanie! Stop trying to escape, we're doing this! You know why? I'm going to prove that possession isn't real." So then we start the ritual. We rip out the doll's stuffing and fill the gap with rice. Then we fill a sink full with water, and put the doll in there. We then stab her with a knife, and say: "Chelsie is the new it. Chelsie is the new it. Chelsie is the new it." We then turn out all the lights, and find a hiding place. "One.. two.. three.. four.. five.. six.. seven.. eight.. nine.. ten." Clarisse was counting quietly at our hiding place near the TV. It's dark. Somewhat scary to them, but not to me. I'm not afraid of the dark. A movie is playing silently, a black and white movie. We jump as the movie suddenly shorts out into loud static. After two minutes, we decide to look for Chelsie. We first check in the bathroom- she's not there anymore. Clarisse finally looks scared. "What in the... what?" Then, creeping quietly amongst the darkness, we go back to the TV, still overcome with static. We wait for a few moments, and check the bedroom behind us. Nothing. So exiting the bedroom, we see something terrifying. Chelsie is right in front of us. Looking at us with beady black eyes that weren't there before. ... and she's holding the knife we stabbed her with. I have to cover Clarisse's mouth to keep her from screaming. She finally calms down a little bit, and starts to speak. "Ok, ok! I take it back! Demons are real! Please, Chelsie-or whoever you are- just leave us alone!" The doll's head then turns to look at us. We decided it's enough and ran to the dark upstairs. We won't be safe. We vowed to play till midnight-- and it's only nine pm.
