Sky sat, crying, in front of his fallen love. The battle was won...but it wasn't a true victory. Many innocent lives were lost over a stupid feud that had started years ago...Including the life of the one he loved the most...

               A slight breeze blew over the bloodied battlefield, causing the torn flags of both armies to flutter a bit before falling still once again. The bodies of squids and humans alike were scattered about, covered with the not yet dried blood of red and blue. No other survivors could be seen, and the setting sun cast eery shadows over all that lay there. 

               The breeze picked up again, and Sky stood up, his cape billowing behind him as the wind caught it. Sword in his hand, Sky walked to the cliff overhanging the dark blue-green waters. Looking towards the last rays of sunlight, he smiled sadly, glittering tears sliding down his already damp, bloodstained cheeks. "See you soon, love." He whispers as the light recedes into the darkness, stepping off the edge of the rocky overhang and plunging into the dark abyss.
