You and Knockout had been awaiting Breakdowns arrival all day. He had gone out on a mission with Dreadwing to offline that nasty spider freak called Arachnid and you couldn't wait for him to get back.

You had only been sparkbonded for a cycle or two so you liked to be with him as much as possible.

'I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away'

"When do u think they'll be back?" You asked the cherry medic standing across from you while you cleaned tools.

"Who knows, Arachnid can be a tricky con to offline, even with Breakdown and Dreadwing doing it" he responded, glancing up from buffing his armor.You didn't respond, only continuing your task.

'I keep your photograph, I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain'

You looked up from the tools you were cleaning when you got a com from Starscream saying to come to the bridge.

"Knocks let's go, Starscream wants us at the bridge, I think Breakdown is coming back!" You said excitedly.

He hopped down from the berth he was sitting on and followed you out the door.

'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
You've gone away, you don't feel me anymore'

You arrived at the bridge to see Starscream and Megatron waiting there. You bowed along with knockout.

"My liege, you requested our presence" You said respectfully.

"Aw yes (Y/n), Knockout. I thought you would like to witness the return of your friend and mate in your case" he said looking from knockout to you.

'The worst is over now and we can breathe again
I wanna hold you high, you steal my pain away
There's so much left to learn and no one left to fight
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain'

On the outside you were calm but on the inside you were happier than a turbo fox on steroids. You missed your love and wanted to see him badly.

Suddenly your attention was cought by a ground bridge opening. Out came Dreadwing and you eagerly waited for Breakdown to come through.....only he didn't.

'Cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away'

You looked at Dreadwing with confusion in your optics.

"Where's Breakdown?" You and knockout asked at the same time.

Dreadwing had a solum look on his faceplates.

"Shut the ground bridge" he said. You looked at him skeptically.

'Cause I'm broken when I'm open
And I don't feel like I am strong enough
'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away'

"What are you talking about Dreadwing, Breakdown hasn't come through yet" Knockout said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Dreadwing's optics hardened. "I said shut the ground bridge. No one else is coming......" he trailed off.

Your spark stopped, your ventilation hitched and you fell to your knees. Lubricant fell from your optics continuously. Everyone but knockout, who had a far away look in his optics, gave you a look of pity.

"H-he's gone...." you mumbled out with a shaky voice.

One thing was for sure, from that moment on.....you were Broken.

Well I hope you enjoyed this sad little one-shot. Sorry it took so long, school has been an ass to me as of late so I havent been able to do anything other than that. I apologize for not saying the exact words from the TV show, it's been a while since I've watched it.
