Meeting my Mate | Pikachu X Sylveon

Pikachu was living alone, hence no trainer at all. He always used to roam around the streets looking for something interesting.

"Hmm... What could I find interesting?" He was currently walking in the streets of Veridian city.

The streets were full of people. And at such times, pamphlets were sure to be seen on the ground. So was one, it was of a game, where you could know who is your mate. But only for Pokemon'.

Pikachu's eyes fell exactly on it. "What's this?" He silently read the pamphlet. And since he was getting bored of doing nothing, he decided on trying it. After filling the required information, he found out that his mate was supposedly of a fairy type. And an eveelution. It was more of a clear hint for him. And he went on searching for a Sylveon.

After spending quite an hour on searching, he met with many Sylveons, but none of them showed interest in him, and he was disappointed. He lost hope on the game and continued his walking until he bumped into a Pokemon.

"Syl... That hurts!" The Pokemon stood up and gave a hand to Pikachu.

"Thanks, I am okay?" Pikachu said but ended his statement as a question as his eyes fell on the fellow Pokemon.

It was a Sylveon.

"Oh, nice! But still, you should go to a Pokemon centre for a checkup." Sylveon suggested with a smile. And Pikachu lost control on himself and fell again, this time hard.

"Pika... I think I should." He said standing up with Sylveon's support.

"Shall I take you there?" She suggested, and he couldn't deny such a cutie's offer, now could he? And then two arrived at the Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy quickly took the two in, for a checkup.

They were all fine, except for Pikachu having some small rashes, from the fall. So nurse joy asked Sylveon to take care of him. And she agreed.

"Well then, let's head to my house!" Sylveon said cheerfully and started walking beside Pikachu. But all of a sudden she stopped and looked down. She accidentally stepped on a pokemon mating game pamphlet. It was the one Pikachu filled earlier.

She took that and scanned the answers written in it. Her face started to heat up as she scanned down. Pikachu knew what she was doing, and kept quiet. But still, he stole glances of her and smiled as she blushed.

Sylveon's face was now all flushed as she saw whose mate she was. And looked at the calm Pikachu whistling beside her.

She didn't wait for the time and pounced on him, tackling him in a hug. "You dummy!" She said. And he laughed.

"Sorry, I thought you would also reject me like the others." He said and helped her up. "Oh, you! Now let's head to my 'Home Sweet Home'." Sylveon then walked him to her home. Her home was near the lake, she herself build it.

"Welcome Home!" Pikachu entered inside and Sylveon made him sat on a mat since she always preferred to be touched to the earth. Then Sylveon brought some medications and started nursing his rashes. He was shaking now and then, every time Sylveon tries to touch him. He took a deep breath and then looked at her face. So calm and sweet. It was turning him to his 'Dreamy Mode'.

"I love you..." And Pikachu whispered dreamily, but he didn't know that she heard it, wide and clear. And her head perked up. "What did you say?" She asked him.

"N-Nothing!" He quickly snapped a hand on his mouth and rapidly shook his head. She giggled and retraced his hand, and sweetly kissed him on his cheek. "Silly, I love you too." He was relieved as she reciprocated his feelings.

And now Sylveon was able to do the nursing, much quicker, since he was not shaking at her touching him. And everything was back to normal when the sun started to set.
