Leo's P.O.V

I didn't know what I expected when Kogie had called saying that he had found something amazing, but I know it wasn't this.

Half-a-dozen tiny little kittens, all mewling in the box that Kogie had brought over. He looked up at me with wide eyes of hope and I shook my head. "We can't keep them, we live in an apartment complex."

"Yeah, but we could totally afford a house together and move out to keep them." He replied and I let out a sigh. "Come on Leo..."

"We are in a band, which means we spend time away from home, currently live in an apartment building and don't really have enough money to buy a house, and we can barely take care of ourselves." I reasoned with him and Kogie pouted with his best puppy dog eyes, which would of worked if I wasn't so sure that we wouldn't be able to take care of them. "I'm sorry Koges... They're really cute but we can't take care of them."

"So you're not even going to try?" He asked and I heard his heart break. I bit my lip and looked down at the little fluffs of white and yellow. "Come on Leo..."

"I... Kogie. Where would we keep them? What about when we are gone? Do you not realize how much work kittens are?" I asked and slowly shook my head. "If you can find somewhere to keep them and a place where they can go when we are out, then maybe-"

"You're the best Leo! I'll find somewhere, don't worry about it!" Kogie said and he placed the box in my hand and dashed off to find his phone.

I looked down at the kittens who all mewed and looked up at me. Letting out a sigh I took them to the couch, sitting down and looking at them. "How old are they anyway Koges?"

"I don't know. I don't know much about kittens!" He yelled back and I looked at the small creatures. They can't be much older than a few weeks... Especially since they aren't trying to get out of the box yet. "Aww, it's okay. I'll find someone. Thanks."

"Kogie... They need milk. They must be younger then two weeks, where did you find them?" I asked and he came back into the lounge. "They wouldn't usually be away from their mother at this point."

"On the side of the road in the box. Shall I get them some milk?"

"You really don't know anything about kittens, do you? We'll need cat milk, helps give them proteins needed to survive. I wonder how long the poor things had with their mother..." I said and I looked over at Kogie who was grinning. "Fine, get them the milk from the fridge, but in the morning we're getting them cat-milk."

"Are you taking a liking to them Leo?" He asked but I didn't grace him with an answer. He returned with a bowl in hand and I sighed, instead grabbing a towel and pouring the milk into it. "What?"

"They could drown. I suppose we'll need to get them bottles too." I said, holding the towel near the kittens so that the milk would drip down for them to catch. "Kogie, found someone yet..."

"Not yet... Still working on it." He said and I nodded, looking back at the kits who started to attack each other slightly. I chuckled and Kogie sat down next to me, wrapping his arms around me. "Aren't they adorable? I didn't think it through... I just wanted to save them..."

"It's fine Koges." I replied and smiled over at him. "I might of done the same thing."

"I'm having trouble finding them a home... Do you have any..."

"I'll ask the land-lord if we can keep them here, at least until they are old enough for people to take." I said and Kogie grinned, hugging me tighter. "Koges... Need to... Breath..."

"Sorry Leo. You're the best boy-friend ever."
