It was Valentine's Day aka singles awareness day. Y/n was expecting to be pestered by the neighborhood playboy Genji yet he failed to make his appearance today. She knew he had an amazing personality and was extremely smart yet it was the title that made her reject him every time. Then the knocking sound came from her door and she sighed ready to recite the same words she would say to him everyday.

She wrenched the door open clearly mad to have had to leave her chocolate behind. She had hoped to spend her Valentiens day in peace without others asking if she wanted to go on a date with them. It seems life was not on her side. There stood her favorite carrot looking ninja with some roses and her favorite kind of chocolate. He was on the right path.

"This is a surprise normally I get a cocky grin and then you fall off of whatever you were sitting on." Genji blushed clearly embarrassed that what she was saying was true. She smiled at him for the first time her heart racing. She had always been attracted to him but with all the women chasing after him she was sure he would pick them over her.

"Yes well I'm not always that graceful. Anyways I wanted to ask my usual question, did you want to you know go out with me?"  He said with a smile. He thought that good looks and a charming smile would win her over. Y/n thought about it. She never got anything on Valentine's Day and she could tell he spent time trying to he them for her.

"Alright Genji but you get one chance."she said kissing his cheek taking her things then shutting the door in his face. Genji stood there in shock still processing what happened before yelling in victory dancing down the street excitedly.
