'Sook...' I heard her calm voice on the other side.

'Y..yeah?'

'I was joking.'

Wait what? She was JOKING?

'Oh for GODS SAKE ELENA!' I exclaimed, slightly frustrated, yet highly embarrassed. 'Whyyyy??'

'Hey, atleast I told you immediately after!' She claimed, and to be honest, I guess she was right.

'Yeah, true...' I sighed. 'Anyway, I'm gonna go now Elena, I was awkward enough around NCT and they'll wonder if I'm avoiding them or something.'

I heard her laugh. 'Yeah, okay, bye!'

'Bye!' I hung up, then made my way back into the large living room, sitting down next to Jaehyun instead of my other seat; I was too awkward to sit anywhere else because I didn't really know any of them.

'Hey, you okay?' Jaehyun asked me.

'Mhm.' I nodded. 'I was just on a phone call with one of my friends.'

'Oh ok.. does she listen to NCT?'

'Um...well, she listens to your music, but she...' I laughed nervously. 'Is just a bit more obsessed with BTS.'

'Ah...right...'

'But I have another friend who really really loves NCT!' I said, glancing at Taeyong, who was listening intently. 'And is it okay if I, um, FaceTime her...? Just cos she's been wanting to come to Korea to come to one of your concerts or fanmeets for ages and she's never actually been able to...'

Jaehyun looked at the other members, who nodded, and I felt a smile slowly form on my face. Claire would be so happy.

Taking out my phone, I opened Instagram.

'Hey Claire, do u wanna FaceTime?'

'Um...'
'Why..?'

'I'm feeling really lonely 😭 pleaseee'

'Er...okay...?'

'Yayyy thank u ❤️'

'Np xx'

Opening FaceTime, I clicked on the contact called 'Claire'. Seconds later, her face popped up on my phone screen.

'Hey.' I said, waving at her.
'Hi.' She replied. 'How's life?'
'Well...' I started. 'For a start, I'm in an apartment in Korea.'
'Omg really!' She exclaimed, her eyes widening. 'I didn't know you were already in Korea!'
'Well..' I laughed. 'Here I am!'
'Omg show me your apartment, is it like in England or completely different?'
'It's REALLY different, I'll show you the living room, if you want?'
'Omg yess.' She nodded.
'Are you sure?' I asked, smiling. 'You're going to be amazed and it's so amazing you're probably going to faint in shock.'
She laughed. 'Probably not, but show me it already lol.'
'Ok, you asked for it.' I said, standing up and placing the phone in front of the TV, ensuring that she couldn't see any of the members just yet. And then, I backed away so she saw them all of a sudden.

'Hello!!!' All of them waved at the camera. I just kept looking at Claire's shocked face. It was kinda hilarious.

'Ae Sook...? What is going on????' She stuttered, making me chuckle.

'Well...' I started, getting my phone again. 'I somehow managed to bump into Jaehyun - oh and I met Jungkook and Jimin as well btw - but then now here I am. They live really near me actually, in the same apartment block.'

She didn't say anything and just kept looking around like she couldn't believe what was happening right now.

'I REALLY WANT TO COME THERE RIGHT NOW!!' She finally said, and Taeyong randomly decided to look into the camera.

'Hellooo.' He said, waving, and I saw Claire turn a bright shade of red. I burst out laughing.

'Hey Claire, you wanna talk to Taeyong for a bit?' I asked, grinning at the shocked and suddenly somehow shy Claire, and handed Taeyong the phone.

'Taeyong's her bias.' I whispered to Jaehyun, who grinned.
'Well, who's yours?' He asked me. I blinked in surprise.
'Well, I..um...' I stuttered, glancing at Jeno. 'I guess I don't really..have..one?'

Well, yeah, Jaehyun was my bias, and he's my ultimate bias, but I felt like he had become kind of like, I don't know, a brother figure? I mean, what else would you think of someone who's been there for you since you were born? Plus he's four years older than me.

'Come on, you must have one!' He said, then lowered his voice. 'You can tell me, I won't tell them, don't worry.'

I glanced at him, then at Jeno. Then back at him.
'Well, it...it's you?' I replied. 'You're my ultimate bias.'
He laughed, making me smile.
'Oh, really?'
'Mhm.' I replied, actually feeling properly shy for the first time in my life as I looked at him, his soft brown eyes and his amazing smile. Maybe he wasn't actually like a brother, more like a soulmate I've known forever. Well, the fact was, he's the only one I knew well in NCT.

'Hey, Ae Sook.' He called, breaking my thoughts. 'Do you want to come with us tomorrow?'

'Um, sure, where are you going?' I asked, slightly nervous yet highly excited.

'Well, there's this party where loads of kpop groups meet; and we're going, BTS is going to be there, so are other major groups like EXO, BlackPink, Seventeen, Got7, etc.' He replied.

I felt my mouth widen to a smile and my eyes widen.

'Seriously, omg YES!' I laughed, clapping my hands excitedly. 'That would be AWESOME.'

He smiled at me.

'By the way, it's in London.'
