'I want to make an announcement.'

'Hm?' I heard Claire from next to me, and saw her looking up at him in curiousity.

'So, first, I just want to introduce to you a couple of people that have joined the NCT family.' He started, smiling. 'They have been an amazing support to us, and in particular, one of them has been a great support to me. The other was with a member in a happy reunion after their separation at childhood. So if you can both come up on stage, Claire and Ae Sook. Oh, and Jaehyun.'

The spotlights and everyone's eyes turned to the two of us. The whole focus of the room was on us. Just the two of us.

I glanced at Claire, who looked back at me with a shocked expression.

'Come on.' Jaehyun grinned, tugging at my arm in excitement. I started walking after him, and Claire was right behind me as the massive crowd cheered. Jaehyun stood next to Taeyong, as me and Claire stood next to each other, confused and not really knowing what we were supposed to do or say. I was purely a giggling mess.

'So it's been great having the two of you by our sides, and... um, there's only one thing the two us have to do or say.'

Me and Claire looked at each other, smiling, then looked back at the boys.

Before we knew it, they had kneeled down on the floor and were both holding open a velvet box with a diamond ring in it, shimmering in the light of the spotlights.

A gasp left both our lips at the same time.
