I saw him, standing next to Jin, who had his hands on Jungkook's shoulders and was trying to talk to him. And Jungkook had his head down, expression emotionless and unwilling to listen to anything.

He glanced at me, and we made direct eye contact, only for him to look away again with a deeply regretful expression in his eyes.

I gulped.

'Sook?' Elena whispered, biting her lip. 'You okay?'

I nodded, forcing a smile. 'Of course! This is the best night of my life.' I smiled, looking at Jaehyun, who smiled back at me.

'Ya, he left...' Jimin said to Elena in a somewhat urgent tone of voice.

'What?' She sounded worried, and both of them turned back to look at the back of the room, where I saw Jin and RM rushing out of the door.

Elena turned back. 'Sook, I really gotta go, I'm sorry, I'll phone or message you when I can.'

'O-okay...' I felt my voice stutter. They meant Jungkook right? Why'd he just leave like that, what happened? Was he okay?

Millions of questions rushed through my head as I watched Elena wave at me, Jimin bow, and then both of them leave.

'Well...that was quick..' I heard Jaehyun from next to me.

I smiled at him. 'Yeah...'

'By the way, how's Claire? She ok?' He asked, smiling. 'She looked really shocked.'

'Claire?' I echoed, then laughed. 'She was super shocked and surprised it was really funny.'

He laughed, and the two of us turned to look back at Claire and Taeyong, laughing and looking like a pair of newly-weds.

'They're so cute, I actually can't.' I smiled, and Jae nodded in agreement, grinning.

'You know... we should do something.'

I felt my eyebrows furrow. 'Do something? What do you mean?'

'You know... to surprise Claire and Taeyong. On their wedding.'

I felt a smile spread across my face. 'That's a great idea! Let's do it!'

'Okay!' He replied, nodding and looking like he was planning something in his head.

'Wait... what do we do?' I asked, slightly confused.

He laughed, hooking his arm round my shoulder.

'Don't worry, I'll sort it all out.'
