Our partnership fell apart, while our worlds were devoured by chaos

We hopelessly seek peace, from even our daily lives

Struggle for food and basic necessities, even our sanity falters on the balance beams

You speak of an obligation, yet I speak for life

I don't need someone out of obligation, I need someone out of love

So don't bring your condemnation, bring your respect and encouragement

Then maybe this obligation you speak of, will coincide with that mutual commitment and love we once promised
