Taehyung's POV
"So, let me get this straight-"
"For fuck's sake, Park! What is there to get straight?! We already discussed this crap!" I shouted, walking out of the forest with my two idiotic best friends following right on my tail. Jimin rolled his eyes, arms crossed neatly over his chest, wind breezing through his hair.
"So," He began again, despite the look I sent his way, a growl forming in my throat. "You decide to spare the kid, when he's probably about to get murdered, yet you say you'll reject him?" I sighed, my walk coming to a stop in the middle of the sidewalk, hands clenched into fists.
"I'm not in control of it," I spat out, voice slowly lowering an octave, my eyes shutting as I felt my wolf surface, the deep and menacing growl of his heard in my head. Don't even fucking think about rejecting our mate. I shut off the connection, turning to face my best friends.
"He won't let me reject him, and remember who was in control two days ago." They smirked, nodding slowly, arms remaining crossed. "Give the kid a chance, Taehyung. He might not be that bad." I rolled my eyes, feeling Namjoon bump my shoulder, walking past me.
"I said no." My wolf reopened the connection, growling loudly, my body tensing up tightly. I froze, feeling his anger radiate throughout my body, my eyes shut again. "Yeah... yeah okay, I'll see," I mumbled softly, letting him slowly begin to calm down, my body relaxing.
"You know V is stronger than you are Tae, why are you fighting him? If he says you can't reject your mate then you can't, just drop it." I growled, grabbing Jimin by the collar of his shirt, looking him in the eyes. "You know my reasoning as to why I can't, Park. Shut your trap."
He scoffed, fixing his shirt and sending a glare my way. "We're going to be late, let's get moving," Namjoon called out, smacking both Jimin and I on the head, walking ahead of us. I sighed, trailing behind Namjoon, my mind racing with thoughts. Why did I have to find my mate?
Better yet, why did I save him?
I shook my head, following my friends until we reached the destination we set on Namjoon's phone. Jimin punched my shoulder, glancing at the building in front of us, a smirk on his face. "Ready to go back to school?" I rolled my eyes, sighing loudly.
"Pack school and public school are two very different things, Park." He just snickered, pushing me forward, waiting for me to walk on ahead and enter the building. "Well, here goes nothing," I growled, knowing no one was around to hear it. I walked forward, fixing my shirt and headband.
I pushed open the door to the school building, glancing around the hallway, seeing signs point to different things within the school. I let my face drain of emotion, walking silently towards the front desk, seeing three ladies sitting behind it. One sent a glare, pushing her chair forward and sitting at the desk to greet us.
"Name and reason why you're late," She stated angrily, my eyes rolling while I smirked, slamming my fists down on the desk, "V, and we're new to this school. Where can we enroll?" She flinched, moving away and staring at the three of us with wide eyes.
"Counselors office..." She stated, pointing in the direction of the office across the gigantic room, the two ladies behind her looking just as scared. I sent a nod, turning away from her and heading to the other side of the room. We entered the office area, my eyes scanning over the room. Chairs and a few desks were out in the open, a hallway leading to offices near the back.
"Hello, how can I help you?" Another lady asked, sitting in her chair, her eyes scanning over the three of us. "We're here to enroll." She nodded, handing me a paper and pointing down the hallway. "Third door on your right." I nodded, clutching the paper and walking in.
This time, I was met with a guy, a huge smile on his face. "Ah, hello! How can I help you?" I felt a growl form in my throat, my eyes shutting tightly. God this was annoying. "Enrolling," I spat, grabbing a chair, pulling it back and sitting down.
He nodded, typing something on his computer and looking me in the eyes. "I need you to fill this information out, along with your two friends. When you've filled it out, hand it back in and we'll discuss your schedule." I took the clipboards, tossing them to Namjoon and Jimin, seeing them sit down beside me.
"Are we putting our real names or what we're going by?" I hummed, staring at the paper. "Nicknames. We can't afford to disclose our real identities, human or werewolf." They nodded, filling out their forms while I filled out mine.
When we were done, we handed it back, seeing the man furrow his eyebrows. "I need a pediatrician, an address, and a parent's contact information." I felt another growl form in my throat, my wolf beginning to surface once again. "We just moved here," I explained, forcing a smile.
"We don't have a doctor and we don't exactly know our address just yet." The guy looked at us suspiciously. "And parents?" I stifled a dry laugh, looking down at the floor. "They aren't in the picture." The male nodded, intertwining his fingers and resting his forearms on the desk.
"Well, as sorry as I am to make you aware of this, we need an address and legal parent information. So, I'm sorry to inform you that you cannot enroll." I glanced at Jimin and Namjoon, hearing them growl into the mind-link.
"Shut and lock the door." They did, Namjoon standing guard at the door while Jimin and I stood up, smirking at the counselor. "We don't exactly take no for an answer. I'll give you one more chance to change your mind." The guy cocked an eyebrow, sitting back in his chair.
"My answer still stands at no. I would be breaking school and district rule if I let you three enroll without this information." My smirk widened, my eyes darkening a bit. "Suit yourself." I shrugged, the lights shutting off, the room turning pitch black.
I closed my eyes, letting my wolf take control then reopening them. My dark blue eyes met the counselor's, my voice deepening, a growl emitting from me. "Put us in the system as enrolled students, give us our schedules, and tell absolutely no one about this," I commanded, his frightened face barely seen within the darkroom.
"I will not tell you again, am I understood?"
"Y-yes..." I laughed lowly, slamming my fists down on the desk, slowly getting closer to the guy. "Yes, what?" The guy gulped, frozen in his seat, my hand reaching out to grab his collar. "Better yet, why don't I just kill you? It'll only take," I tilt my head to the side, smiling devilishly, "ten seconds, max."
Park and RM laughed lowly, eyes glowing blood red. The lights turned back on and our wolves gave us control, our eyes changing back to their normal colors. "Are we understood?" The counselor nodded frantically, typing away on his computer.
"H-here... y-y-you're in the system, these are your IDs." He handed us three-card like IDs, each having our nickname on it and an ID number that consisted of seven numbers. "Here! These are your schedules and the room number and floor is listed on it! Look, I don't want any trouble! I'll do whatever you ask of me!"
I cocked an eyebrow, taking the schedules and handing them to my friends. "These three schedules are the same, correct?" He nodded, eyes turning glossy as he pushed himself closer into the wall, eyes holding fear. "You won't tell a single soul about what you saw, am I understood?"
"I swear! I promise on my life that I will not tell anyone! You can come in every day to see me and I promise I'll let you! I promise I-" I growled, slamming my fist down on the desk. "I got it, you won't tell. Trust me, your life can end in ten seconds if you disobey me, got it?"
With another nod, the three of us were out the door, IDs and schedules in our hands. By now, we were probably twenty minutes late to our first class which so happened to be Physics. According to the school system here, Jimin and I fell under Juniors.
Namjoon was a senior.
Despite that though, we all shared the same classes. "Says here that our physics class is in the D hall." I hummed, glancing at the hallways, seeing the big letters painted above each hallway. "There's two? Which hallway then?" Namjoon simply snickered, pushing past Jimin and walking down the left D hallway.
We finally stumbled upon the room, both of them stepping aside and letting me walk in first. I took a deep breath, pushing the door open, seeing everyone's eyes land on me first. "As you know, distance is calculated by-" The teacher paused, glancing over in my direction and furrowing her eyebrows.
"Can I help you?" I scoffed, walking into the room, letting Jimin and Namjoon follow behind me. "New students. Transfers." She seemed shocked, taking my schedule and looking at it for a second. "Huh, seems you do have my class." I rolled my eyes, glancing at Namjoon.
"Take a seat wherever there's one available. We're doing notes." I snatched my schedule from her hand, heading towards the desks which were aligned in somewhat neat rows. I walked towards the end, picking a seat at the very back of class, Jimin and Namjoon sitting next to me and in front of me.
We sat through our first class, the bell heard throughout the room as the students put away their things. The three of us walked out of class, finding our next one fairly easily. It was just the hallway over. I groaned as we took our seats again, the bell heard loud and clear.
"Fucking hate English," Jimin muttered, glaring at the board that had several things written on it. "You probably hate it because you can't fucking speak it." He shot me a glare, flipping me off as well. I laughed, hearing Namjoon laugh too, the classroom awfully silent. I looked around, seeing everyone looking at us.
Another growl formed in my throat, my wolf slowly surfacing. I sense something. I wanted to roll my eyes, the need to push him down and shut the connection only growing. Taehyung, something's here, I just don't know what. With a sigh, I looked around the room, eyes scanning over the students.
"Okay class, it seems we have three new transfer students. Can you three make your way up to the front and tell us a little bit about yourselves?" I nudged Jimin, standing up and slowly walking to the front. I cleared my throat, glancing at the students in the class.
"Name's V. I'm seventeen, not that any of you seem to care anyway." I punched Namjoon's shoulder, signaling him to go next. "My name's RM and I'm eighteen, a senior. There's nothing exciting about me." He shrugged, shoving his hands into his pockets and pushing Jimin forward.
"Sup! I'm Park! I'm seventeen, and, uh," He paused, whispering something to Namjoon who told him what it was in English. "I'm single! Yeah! Currently looking for-"
I smacked him.
"Shut up," I spat, pushing him forward a bit, hearing him growl into the mind-link, eyes meeting mine. "Okay then! Students, meet your new transfers! Please make them feel welcome!" The class mumbled a yes ma'am, eyes locked onto us, mouths slightly parted.
The door suddenly opened, the sound of rushed footsteps entering the room filled my ears. "I'm so sorry, Mrs. Bates! I-" I glanced at the teacher, hearing her sigh. "Jeon, you're lucky you're a good student. Don't let it happen again, next time I'll mark you tardy."
The scent hit my nose, my eyes widened, my wolf howling loudly. I snapped my head around to meet Jungkook's eyes, his body tensing up and freezing on the spot. His lips parted open in shock, backpack slung over his shoulder. I too stood frozen, my body unable to move as the scent of my mate filled the air around me.
My friends seemed shocked as well, staring at Jungkook then back at me. I quickly wiped away any emotion on my face, shaking my head and slowly heading back to my desk, hearing Jungkook's heart race quickly in his chest as he took a seat close by. Why? Just why?
Fuck.
-·=»‡«=·-
And so they meet again. They happen to share the same English class in the same school! Coincidental? I think not haha.
What'll happen between these two? Will Taehyung ignore Jungkook or will he finally confront him?
And Jungkook, what'll he do now that V is at school?
I purple you 💜
