Forever and ever they

Taehyung's POV

Two days later and it's the middle of the week, which means that both Namjoon's and Jimin's ruts are over. Jungkook was better, much better, only making a few pained faces whenever he turns too quickly or does a wrong move. Other than that, he can walk, and the bruises have turned into that ugly yellow color, but they're mostly gone.

"We gotta head back to that packhouse. That piece of scum is still there." There's disgust laced in my tone, my eyes finding my mate who was currently throwing a shirt over his head. "Don't kill him," He said, meeting my gaze with his own, a hint of begging heard.

"You still have care for that lousy human?" He sighed, grabbing his phone, and walking over to me. "No?" He said, shaking his head. "Yes, maybe, I don't know! All I know is that I don't want him dead, not yet at least. I don't know if I ever will! But even if I don't want him dead, how will killing him help in any way?" I sighed, carding my fingers through my hair.

"I'm not sure, Angel but I don't want him near you. Not now, not ever." He just smiled, throwing his arms over my shoulders and hugging me. "I know you don't, but I'm okay. I have you to protect me, don't I? I'll be fine. We're in this together, after all." I smirked, nodding with a little hum. Damn right.

"Let's get going. We have shit to discuss with him." Jungkook giggled, grabbing his wallet and throwing a jacket over his shoulders. I took his hand, the two of us walking down the stairs of his loft and heading for the door. I grabbed my things and pulled the door open, opening it up for him to walk through.

Shortly enough, we were back in the woods, heading directly for the packhouse. It was silent when we arrived, other than the small creaks from the doors and floorboards. "I'm going to, uh," I paused, pointing to the stairs. "I'm going to go check on my betas. You're welcome to tag along, but they might not be decent."

He rolled his eyes, placing a kiss onto my lips and heading for the stairs. I smirked again, following him and gently tapping his butt with my fingertips. "Have I told you how nice of an ass you have?" He gasped, playfully hitting my chest. "Knock it off."

With a snicker, I pushed the first door open, hearing it hit the wall with a bang. "Make it out alive?" I asked, leaning against the door frame while a growl was heard within the room. "Haven't you ever heard of knocking, asshole?" Jimin spat, eyes flashing red while I smirked at him. Yoongi was pressing his body close to Jimin's, burying his face in my beta's neck.

"Watch your tone, Park. You're talking to your alpha after all." He growled again, hugging his mate and shielding his body from us. I rolled my eyes, tossing clothes at them. "Park, take care of your mate. Yoongi, do you need to go home for anything?" He glanced at me, nodding slowly.

"A shower, but that's it." I nodded, looking at Jimin and watching as he nodded too. "I'm gonna check on Namjoon. Then afterward I'm gonna talk to Hoseok. Take Yoongi home and take care of him, got it?" Jimin nodded, flashing a quick smile. I checked on Namjoon and Jin, finding them sound asleep next to one another, arms and legs intertwined.

"Yo, Namjoon," I called out softly, watching as he opened his eyes. "Take Jin home and give him a bath. Take care of him and make sure he gets better. Just stay at his house until he's better then return." He cocked an eyebrow, turning to face me. "Why is that? What are you planning?"

"Nothing too special. Just gonna talk to Hoseok, force some more information out of him. Now come on, they need rest." He nodded, both Park and RM leaving the packhouse shortly after Jungkook and I said goodbye. We were left alone, besides Hoseok of course, the two of us locking gazes.

"I assume you want to tag along while I talk to him?" Jungkook nodded, arms crossed over his chest. I hummed, leading him down the hall and kicking the door open. "Wake up," I said, watching as Hoseok opened his eyes, head hung low with his hands and feet tied to the chair. I pulled the cloth away from his mouth, letting him speak.

"Don't think that just because we had stuff to take care of, you're off the hook." He rolled his eyes but nodded, cracking his neck. "What do you want?" His voice was hoarse and scratchy, his eyes closing as he hung his head low again. "I want to know your reason behind all of this, and just how you expect to fix this mess."

"I already told you the reason," He spat, opening his eyes and looking at me. "Easy money. Plus, I didn't like you. I still don't like you." I snickered, cracking my knuckles. "Likewise." Jungkook gripped my shirt, looking away from Hoseok.

"I still don't believe a word that leaves that mouth of yours. But whatever, the damage has been done. So, do you realize what situation you put not only us, but yourself in too?" He nodded, sitting back a bit, fingers twitching. "Yes. I understand, I told you already. Are we going to talk about anything useful?"

"Watch it, Jung. While you're here, tied down, I'm in charge." He kept silent, looking at me with bored eyes. "Sorry. Now, what did you really come here for?" I glanced at Jungkook, planting a quick kiss to his forehead. "You told me that the mafia will fight." He nodded.

"I need to know if you're certain about that. Swiftcrest stands at the biggest, most powerful pack in the entire world. With practically three thousand wolves on their side, we're outnumbered." He sat up straight, eyes narrowed. "Can you get the mafia to fight or not?"

"I can. I murdered the leader, after all, they fear me." I nodded again, stepping closer to him. "How many can you get?" There was silence for a bit, almost like he was thinking it over. "It won't be easy, but I can get all of the mafia to follow my orders- without killing any of them, I mean."

"Are you certain?" My eyes flashed blue, tone commanding as my voice grew deeper. He nodded. "Yes." I glanced at Jungkook again, taking a deep breath. "Swiftcrest wants me dead, because of what I did to Alpha Chanyeol. But I know how he works, he's aiming to take down everything that means the world to me."

"As of right now, that stands at three people." His eyes narrowed, head tilting. "RM, Park, and Jungkook." Silence hit the room, my hand reaching back to grab Jungkook's, feeling our fingers intertwine. "If you care about him, at least as much as you claim you do despite putting him at gunpoint, then you will get the mafia on our side and you will fight."

"Am I understood?" The command left him shaking, visibly trembling in the seat. "Yes. Understood." I nodded, gripping onto the chains on the chair and giving a small tug. "What are you doing?" Jungkook asked, voice small and quiet. I glanced at him, letting my features soften as I met his gaze.

"Releasing your friend," I said softly. I gripped the chains and tugged on them, watching as they came undone. Park told me to secret to them, and I just needed to pull on them in a certain direction for it to come down. I released his hands and legs, stepping away. Hoseok was with wide eyes, lips parted.

"You're letting me go?"

"Mm, no. Not at all, actually." His head tilts to the side, eyebrows furrowing with confusion. "I don't understand." He stood up on shaky legs, holding onto the armrest of the chair. "You don't get to go home to where you lived. You're living here from this point on." Jungkook looked at me, eyes wide.

"You may only leave this packhouse with me, and I must give you permission to do anything here. You will not run, you will not fight myself or my friends, you will not touch the humans that live here too." The command was strong, his body freezing up and tensing tightly. "You will listen to me, understood?"

"Yes. Yes, Alpha, I understand." I nodded once, intertwining my fingers with Jungkook's. "Great. You will only leave this building once a day, and that's to go to school. You will not leave school grounds at all until the final bell rings, and even then you will be escorted back here by me. If you run," I said, taking a step closer to him, my hand reaching out to grab his wrist.

"I will find you. There's only so much distance you can put between us before you get caught. If you fight me, I won't hesitate to put you in your place." He was shaking, eyes wide with fear but feet planted firmly on the ground. He didn't move, didn't speak, didn't do anything. He just stood there and listened.

"Disobey me or my commands, and trust me, I'll give you a permanent reminder about what I can and will do." He nodded quickly, tears pooling in his eyes. "I understand. I won't do anything, I promise..." I nodded, letting go of his wrist and taking a step back.

"You are free to roam the packhouse as you please. Take one step out of this building and you're back in the chair, tied up with no food or water." Jungkook frowned, tugging on my shirt which caused me to look at him. "Why are you doing this?" He didn't look hurt, just confused.

I sighed, looking at him then at Hoseok, knowing he wanted to know why too. "I'm not the type of alpha who craves control over others, but I'm not afraid to use my alpha privileges on humans if I must. You, Hoseok, almost killed my mate, and, trust me, if he wasn't here I may have killed you."

"But my word stands true. If you fail to do as you said, to get the mafia on our side and to help with this war, then I'll throw you to Swiftcrest for them to take you." He gulped, looking away from me. "I am treating you as a slave, as they would if they took you with them. You mean nothing to them, and trust me they won't hesitate to make that clear."

"Once you gain not only my trust but my friends' trust, you may do as you please here in this world. Until then, you are following my orders and commands." It wasn't a question, but more like a demand. He nodded, looking at his hands which were tied up not too long ago.

"Be grateful that I am not torturing you alive. If you wish for me to go to that extent, then by all means test my patience." He shook his head, keeping quiet and staring at the ground. "That's all. We will begin forming a plan when my friends and their mates return to the packhouse."

"Yes, Alpha." I nodded, looking at Jungkook. I kissed his forehead, pulling his hand a bit as I turned away from Hoseok and towards the door. "As I said, you are free to roam the packhouse as you please. I won't remove that from you, not until you show me that you are incapable of having that privilege."

"Thank you," He whispered, following Jungkook and I as we left the room and shut the door behind us. When we reached the living room area, I turned to face Hoseok, gripping his shirt lightly and pulling him towards me. "Don't make me play the bad guy, okay? You are not off the hook, but I am granting you a chance to fix your mistakes and earn my trust."

"Don't screw up the only opportunity I am giving you." He nodded, a hand wrapping around my wrist. "I get it, don't worry. Thank you, for you know, giving me a chance." I nodded, glancing at Jungkook. "I'm doing it for my mate, not for you." He gulped as I let his shirt go. "Just remember, Hoseok, as long as you're here, under my roof,"

"I control you."

Alpha Taehyung ftw, amirite. Taehyung isn't a monster, but having witnessed his mate almost dying and being held at gunpoint, he has some negative feelings for Hoseok.

Do you think Hoseok will fix his mistakes and try to gain all of trust? Or will he fuck up?

I purple you 💜
