"Mom, shouldn't you be the one giving me the talk about female matters?" Janet Alexa Lane asked her mother.

"Honey, your father's the expert. He's the one who even gave your aunt the talk," she chuckled.

Carter Lane's family consisted of two baby girls and one big baby girl. Freida, who had decided that their daughter was ready to receive the talk had also decided that Carter was going to be the one to do it. After all, he was the expert. The first talk was given to their elder daughter, Isabel Hilary Lane, when Freida was out of town and was unable to arrive on time. Hence, it was decided that Janet, when she was old enough, would also receive it from her father. After all, nothing spelled revenge like embarrassing their girls.

Two talks later, Carter already considered himself to be extremely accomplished. The third talk was just a test of his skills. He would also be lying if he said that he didn't enjoy himself when he saw his daughters' flustered and frustrated looks. In fact, he liked it so much that he was ordered by his sister to give the talk to his nieces as well as his nephew. Freida's laughter and smiles were just an added bonus to everything.

He would always wonder how he got the immature, yet mature woman to marry him even after dating her for five years. He assumed it was all thanks to the periods, pads and tampons he bought whenever she needed them.

Periods, pads and tampons, or as his brother in law liked to call them, periodic package problems.
