That's totally me

Danny's POV

Well Beya just returned and she was tired."Danny?" She said and I hummed as I looked up from my new phone."Yeah?" I said."Why did we get the life we got?" She asked. She's broken."Destiny." I said."Why?" She asked."Everything happens for a reason. For example, if I weren't a Halfa who would've stopped Pariah Dark?" I asked and she looked down to the floor as she sat down next to me."It'll be okay. I promise. You went through hell and back and your still standing." I said in hopes to cheer her up.

Dani came in and hugged the both of us."Can I watch a movie?" Dani asked."Sure." I said as I handed her the tv remote. She switched the tv on and Wonder Woman was on. Oh boy."Whoa, awesome!!" Dani said and I looked at Beya. The reason I was a little nervous is because Wonder Woman's father is Zeus and one of his brothers is trying to destroy the world...that's practically what happened to Beya.

I looked at Beya to see she wasn't even watching but she is asleep."Dani, lower the volume." I whispered as I pointed to Beya. She nodded and lowered the volume. Mom and dad came in and placed a blanket on the three of our shoulders."Don't stay up to late. You should still rest." Mom said."Ok...where's Jazz?" I asked."She is with Lloyd at Vlad's place. She's making sure Lani has a good home." Mom said and I nodded as she placed a kiss on my fore head.

"I love you mom and dad." I said."We love you too, son." Dad said as they left and went to bed. I immediately fell asleep as soon as I laid my head down on my pillow.

Lani's POV

Danny told me about the stuff that Vlad did to him and I was a little bit nervous. What if this Mr. Vlad isn't a good man or he is worse than Danny is letting me on."Lani. Lloyd. You okay?" Jazz asked."Just...have the butterflies, you know?" I said.

"Look, I know Vlad isn't the best man on earth but he always wanted a kid halfa. He'll teach you everything he knows, besides now you can see your brother willingly and freely without other people wandering what you are up to." Jazz said.

Jazz then smiled at me and I nodded. She knocked on the door and the door was opened by a man. Late forties, silver hair in a pony tail, black suit and a red bow tie. I looked at his eyes and saw he had coldish blue eyes that also had bags underneath.

"Jasmine. Welcome. Please come in." He said and took a step aside. Wait, he's the one that helped with the agents back in Gravity Falls. He is a halfa.

"Hello Vlad. This is Lani and her twin brother Lloyd. Lani is a halfa." Jazz said."Lani. I'm going to teach you everything I know of what I learnt the past twenty years of being a halfa and then of course you will also have luxury at your finger tips and full protection from ghost hunters and the pesky GIW agents. Here you are save and sound." Vlad said.

"Uh, thanks...I guess." I said nervous."Vlad, she needs to rest since she still has a lot of wounds from, you know where." Jazz said."But, of course Jasmine! She'll have proper care and a proper diet so her body can function properly again." Vlad said.

"I know Vlad." Jazz said."Uh, can I see my room?" I asked awkwardly."But of course. Right this way, dear." Vlad said and lead us to the staircase and to a series of halls.

We arrived at a door that was a dark brown colour that is clearly varnish. I opened the door only to see a room with a carpet in."Uh, Vlad...details?" Jazz said.

"Well, if she is going to be comfortable then she should design her own room. I have prepared a other room until this room is finished and done." Vlad said."Wow, your own room Lani! That's great!" Lloyd said.

It is."All I ever wanted was a home." I said."Lani, it's okay. Vlad knows everything of ghosts and he himself is a halfa with experience so, if someone is going to take care of you, it should be a halfa, that went through it all."

"What about Danny? Beya?" I asked."They'll be fine. You can always visit them or they can visit you. No brainier and no trouble...so do you want to stay here?" Jazz finally asked.

"Yes."

"Fabulous! Now let me show you where you'll be staying until your room is finished." Vlad said as he lead me to the room across my room. He opened it and frankly...I fell in love with it.

"Lani? You okay?" Lloyd asked. I slowly smiled and jumped up floating with him."This is amazing!" I shouted and landed on my back on my bed. I could sleep on this. This is all mine!

"Don't sleep, not just yet!" Lloyd said and I chuckled. I saw Vlad and Jazz talking but I didn't worry about that now."Lani! Check this out!" Lloyd said as he went inside a door."This is your bathroom!" He shouted and immediatly I was inside.

"This is so awesome!" I shouted. I never had something like this. Maybe I overreacted when I first arrived.

"So, you're staying here?" Jazz asked."That's a big fat yes! I never want to leave!" I shouted and Vlad smiled.

"That's great news!...Let's celebrate!" Vlad said."No alcohol, Vlad." Jazz said."Jasmine, I don't drink due to getting drunk fast, thanks to my ghostly persona." Vlad said."I was thinking of a bowl of chocolate and vanilla ice cream." Vlad said.

"Yes! Now your talking!" Lloyd said and we went to the kitchen. Vlad gave us ice creams and it was good to eat something this luxurious again. I felt safe and sound. No worries. No pain...for now at least.

That night I went to bed feeling happy and longed for.
