Danny stared sleepily at himself in the mirror. He was awoken in the middle of the night by a sharp pain in his gums and jaws. He carefully lifted his lip to get a decent look at the painful area.

A tiny sharp fang, that wasn't there before, peaked out of his gums. He checked the other side and, sure enough, protruding from the left side of his mouth was a matching tiny fang. Opening his mouth, the teen checked out his newly acquired set of teeth. He winced as he closed his mouth again, his mouth still sore from his newly grown teeth.

He walked out of the bathroom and towards Aizawa's door. He knocked three times before it opened up, revealing a tired Aizawa on the other side.
"I swear kid if you woke me up to kill another spider" still, the underground hero grabbed a rolled-up newspaper.

Instead of answering, Danny just gave him a toothy grin to show off his new baby fangs. Aizawa stared at him and blinked. Once. Twice.

"Do me a favor and lie to me by saying those aren't real"

"But you told me that lying is bad"

"Yes but unless you want me to lie in the ground forever you'll ignore that"

"Awww look at you! With your adorable baby fangs!" Nemuri gushed as she pinched Danny's cheeks. Danny continued to smile, showing off said baby fangs. His gums had stopped hurting which he was pretty happy about. They didn't take much time to get used to either.

"Quit gushing over my kid and go to your actual classroom" Aizawa sipped his coffee, ignoring the annoying glare from Nemuri. It was Danny's first day back at school since the attack and he was excited to see his classmates again. He did see them the day before since it was the second part of the sports festival. He spent the festival in the sound booth with Aizawa and Yamada so he didn't have a chance to greet them. He did congratulate Todoroki, Tokoyami, and Bakugou though.

"I'm the guest teacher today, you old grump" Nemuri sassed, hand on her hip.

"Guest teacher for what?" Danny asked, curious as to why Nemuri was gonna be teaching their class.

"You'll find out soon little ghost" was his only response.

Pretty soon, Iida, who always showed up to class a half-hour early, walked through the door. He politely greeted Aizawa and Nemuri before spotting Danny.

"Ah, I see you are back in class! If you need any help catching up I will be more than happy to!" Iida exclaimed in his usual booming voice.

"That'd be awesome! Thanks, Iida!" Danny grinned. Iida seemed a little surprised when he noticed the fangs.

"Real" Aizawa sighed.

"Ah.."

"Hey bro! Good to see you back in class!" Kirishima grinned as he sat down next to Danny.

Danny grinned back.
"Hi! Good job at the sports festival by the way!"

Denki, who was next to Kirishima, laughed when he saw Danny's fangs.
"Dude, Halloween isn't for like, six months. Why're you wearing faux vampire fangs"

Danny stared at him in confusion.

Denki's laugh immediately stopped.
"Oh, why am I even confused at this point" flopping on his desk, Denki let out a dramatic whine.

"sO CUTE!" Mina squealed when she saw Danny's tiny baby fangs. Danny blushed in embarrassment, closing his mouth.

"Wait no I wanna see!" Ochako exclaimed.
"Quick, make him smile!" She pleaded.

"Oi, why are you idiots crowding the ghost for," Bakugou asked once he walked in, too tired to deal with his classmates' shit. In his hand was a baggy of homemade brownies, he happened to have made a bit too many and decided to give a few to Danny- only so the dumbasses life would be a tad less depressing-

Danny immediately brightened up when he saw the baggy, a smile was immediately plastered on his face. Ochako, Toru, and Mina immediately cooed over the adorableness.

Bakugou slammed the baggy onto Danny's desk and immediately walked out of the room. Danny's smile dropped, another confused look took its place.

"Huh?"

"Today you'll be choosing your hero names!" Midnight announced to the class.

"Yes! I've been waiting for this!" Hagakure's sleeves waved around in the hair, showing her excitement.

"I'll have the final say on your hero names, hence why I'm here. I'm passing out some whiteboards so you can write your hero name on them" After she passed out the whiteboards, they all spent ten minutes or so writing down their potential hero names.

"All right~ who's going to go first?" Aoyama immediately volunteered and, after standing in front of everyone, proudly flipped his whiteboard over to reveal his hero name.

"I cannot stop twinkling!" He posed dramatically after he shared his hero name.

"Isn't that kind of a mouthful? Why not shorten it to 'Can't stop twinkling'" Midnight offered.

Eh, not as bad as invisobill so Danny didn't mind it.

Up next was Mina.
"Alien Queen!" Mina exclaimed in excitement. Danny loved it.

Sadly, much to Mina and Danny's dismay, Midnight turned it down because of the origin.

Asui was the first student to come up with a somewhat decent and appropriate hero name 'Froppy'. Danny liked it a lot along with the rest of the class so Midnight approved.

"Lord explosion murder? No" Midnight deadpanned, much to the annoyance of Bakugou.

"Why not 'kabam!'" Danny offered, quite proud of his suggestion.

"Oh! I quite like that! Good suggestion Danny!" Midnight smiled proudly.

"No" Bakugou's eye twitched in annoyance. Soon, he sat down without ever choosing his name. Soon, most of the class chose their hero names. Izuku chose to be called 'Deku' which surprised Danny a little. His green-haired friend had told him about the awful nickname and what it meant during their hangout. The broccoli-haired teen seemed pretty content with his choice, however, so Danny liked it.

"Alright, Danny! Your turn" Excited, Danny stood up from his seat and bounced his way to the front of the class.

He eagerly flipped his whiteboard around, showing off his hero name. Almost immediately, Aizawa immediately shot up from his sleeping bag, where he was napping.

"No" his response was simple and effective, especially when used by Aizawa's infamous no-nonsense dad's voice.

"But why?" Danny pouted.

"Because your hero name is not going to be Muffin Man" Danny knew he wasn't going to get away with it so he begrudgingly erased the board and wrote down another name.

"Don't shorten it to just muffin either" Danny erased the board again with a scowl.

"Why not Invisobill?" Denki suggested, causing the ghostly teen to freeze.

The class watched in confusion as Danny wordlessly walked out of the classroom, screamed, then walked back in like everything was normal.

"So um, anyway, no" Danny smiled. He quickly wrote down his last name choice before showing it to everyone else.

Phantom. The name seemed to gain the approval of everyone in the room.

Although the name hadn't caught on in Amity quite as Invisobill did, a fact Danny was not happy about, there were still a few people who called him that. As much pain as his hometown had given him, he still couldn't just forget about the few people there who had helped him. By keeping that small part of his life, he didn't feel like he was completely abandoning Sam, Tucker, and Jazz. He may be starting a brand new phase of his life, but he won't ever forget the good times of his old one.

"Dad? Marigold isn't eating her food" Danny said in concern as he watched the fish flakes float towards the bottom of her new, much bigger, tank. Nemuri had given it to Danny as a birthday gift along with a bunch of decorations for it. Marigold swam right past, not even giving the food a second glance.

"She's probably not hungry, Yamada most likely fed her a ton. Give it a couple of days" Aizawa reassured, reaching down to pet pebbles.

He walked towards the kitchen and pulled open the fridge.
"What do you want for dinner, kid?" He asked. Danny pouted some more at his pet goldfish before answering.

"I dunno, what is there to make?" Danny walked into the kitchen and sat down at one of the stools by the counter.

"How does ramen sound?" Danny gave an approving thumbs up so Aizawa began gathering the ingredients.

Danny worked on his homework as Aizawa made their meals. Pebbles was asleep beside Dannys' seat and Marigold was swimming happily in her tank.

Their quiet, peaceful evening didn't last.

After Aizawa finished dishing up the ramen in two bowls and Danny was putting his homework away, Aizawa's phone went off.

Aizawa picked up the phone and, after reading the alerting message, immediately paled.

The Fentons had escaped prison. Attached to the message was a photograph taken from the security cameras. The Fentons were led away by several armed men in masks and uniforms, all with the world DALV written on their weapons.

"Thanks, Vladdy! I'm not sure what we would have done without you, we're glad to have you in our family" Jack said once the couple made it to the rich man's mansion. The group of men who helped their escape all wandered off in different directions in the mansion. The couple followed Vlad as he took them to his living room. There, Jack took off his orange prison jacket, revealing burn scars on his arms. Matching scars plastered half of his face as well. Maddie took off her hat, showing off her scorched hair and acid burnt face

"We sure are, now, what're we going to do about that piece of scum? It's caused enough harm, brainwashing those poor children and heroes into protecting it. We need to do something about it, once and for all" Maddie's expression was dark as she thought about Danny.

"Don't fret, Maddie, I've already worked out the details" Vlad smirked, hands caressing the weapon laying on the table. Jack tilted his head in curiosity.

"What's that, V-Man?" The fugitive asked.

"This, my old friend, is a way to subdue that ghost. Don't worry, by this time next week his reign of terror will come to an end" Vlad's grin of content hid his true intent from the oblivious couple beside him. From this time next week, his quirkless problem will be solved.

Nobody paid any mind to the crow sitting on the open windowsill.

Striking violet eyes searched the skies for her friend. Arms resting against her balcony's guardrails, she anxiously awaited any news that she may or may not like. Finally, after what seemed like hours, she caught sight of what she'd been waiting for.

"Oh my gosh, finally, Lilith! C'mon dude what took you so long??" Sam shot Tucker a look of annoyance as the crow perched on the goth's arm.

"Shut up tucker" She gladly reciprocated the finger she received for her comment.

Rolling her eyes, she turned towards Lilith as the bird began telling Sam what she had heard. Once the crow finished speaking, or in tuckers case, cawing, Sams's eyes widened in a panic.

"Tucker, pack your bags and tell your parents you're going to Japan with me" She ordered, walking into her lavish bedroom connected to her balcony.

"Okay- wait what"
