"Well, as bad as that idea sounds, it's the best we've got. I mean no one else has any better ideas." Alyssa said. "This is crazy! Shouldn't the plan be more elaborate? How are we even going to know this will work?!" Exclaimed Reiner. "Look, I know this sounds very iffy, but there's nothing better we can do. In this primitive mine we are in, there isn't much else we can do, especially when there's 6 guards armed with weapons. The only other thing we could do is cause a landslide, which would kill us along with every other slave here." Kane told them.
"Considering these circumstances, this is our best option. Kane, Reiner, let's give it our all!" "Yeah! Let's do this thing!" Kane and Reiner responded excitedly.
Kane, Alyssa, and Reiner, made their way closer to the entrance of the mine, trying their best to stay away from the guards. They went back to digging to make it seem like they've​ been hard at work, in order to trick the guards. When the guards weren't looking, they bolted towards the exit, but as they were running, one of the guards saw that they were trying to escape, so he alerted all the other guards. Soon after, all the guards were chasing after them, and while the guards were chasing them, all the other slaves saw this as their perfect chance to escape. It got very chaotic at the mine, people were running for their lives, the guards had to resort to killing the slaves for resisting captivity. Amidst the chaos ensuing in the mines, Kane guided Alyssa and Reiner outside of the mine and they ran towards one of the slave carrier ships. There were a few guards standing on watch outside, that noticed the group running for the ship. The guards started firing their laser guns at them, but they made it inside the ship, unscathed. "How do you start this thing?!" Alyssa asked nervously. "Uhh, I'm not good with spacecraft!" Shouted Reiner. "Hold on everyone! Let's try to work this out! Umm, let's see, what about this switch?" Kane said. As soon as he flipped the switch, the ship went airborne. "WooHoo!! Yeah!" Everyone shouted happily. They managed to fly away from Xychros safely, and become free once again. They eventually were flying peacefully through deep space. As they were flying Kane asked, "So now that we've escaped, what is everyone going to do next?" "I want to stay with Kane. There is no way I'm going to go back to being alone, I've already lost my family, so I really have no home to go back to." Alyssa proclaimed. "Well I want to get as far away from the Kaizarr as humanly possible, I do not want to have any more encounters with them ever again." Reiner exclaimed. "Well you may have a tough time staying away from them forever. When I was back on Neptune, I heard people talking about the Kaizarr. They said that they have become a huge power in the universe, and it is almost impossible to stay away from them. You'd be better off staying with me and Kane, Reiner." "Well I can't stay with you, who knows what you guys would do. You both are probably going to try and fight the Kaizarr and I'm not going to get myself wrapped up in that. Kane, you can drop me off on the spaceport  on the nearest planet. I'll decide what I'll do from then when I get there." Reiner told them. "Alright, If that's what you want to do, I can't stop you, you only told me you'd help me and Alyssa escape, so I can't force you to stay with us. We'll be going by Planet Fotore shortly, I'll drop you off at the spaceport there then, if that's what you truly want to do." Kane said. "Thanks for understanding Kane. It was nice working with you guys, thanks for letting me escape with you both." Reiner told Kane. "No problem." Kane replied. Kane flew the ship over towards Fotore, and landed the ship at the spaceport there. They all got off the ship and started seeing Reiner off. "See ya man, good luck out there in the world." Kane told him. "Yeah! Good luck out there, it was great seeing you!" Alyssa told him.
"Thank you both! Hopefully someday we can meet again! Bye!" Reiner replied as he began to walk away. As he was leaving, Alyssa started to tear up. She held onto Kane's arm, and he held her close. "I'll miss Reiner, he was a nice person." Alyssa said. As the sun started to set, and Reiner was out of eyesight, Kane proclaimed, "I have a feeling someday we will definitely meet him again."
