As the group was approaching towards Planet Lophos, where they will seek out the ancient ruins, Hiko asked, "What do you suppose we'll find hidden on Lophos?"
"Well it must be something that can aid us in our upcoming fight with the Kaizarr, so maybe like a super weapon, or like some beast that can help us or something?" Alysaa responded.
"Whatever it is, we have to find it! It's the only way we'll be able to save my sister, and get started on the defeat of the Kaizarr!" Kane said full of excitement.
The group made it to Lophos, and Kane landed their ship at the first village they saw. Everyone hopped out of the ship, and noticed that the planets surface was much like a desolate wasteland. Sand as far as the eye can see, a massive, blazing sun sitting in the middle of the sky, and it was very empty. The village they arrived in was pretty small, much smaller than any town or village Kane remembered from Earth. The houses of the village were small huts made from sandstone, since that's about the best you can get on a desert. They walked around the village, looking for a villager so that they could ask some questions to them. Alyssa noticed an old man sitting in front of his hut, and approached him. "Excuse me sir, do you know where any ancient ruins are, and how we can get to them?" She asked.
"Hmm, well I assume you're talking about the ruins of Corr, all the tourists and adventurers want to go there looking for some kinda treasure. If you wippersnappers want to get there, try talking to my son, Harold, he likes to take us villagers out into the wasteland for hunting and scavenging, he can get you to those ruins in no time." Replied the old man.
"Ok, thank you very much sir. Come on Kane and Hiko, let's go find Harold." Alyssa told them.
They walked into the old man's hut. Inside it was pretty tidy and organized, except for one corner of the room, where there were many tools and vehicle components piled up, and an oily rag slouched over a chair. They found a door leading into an extension of the house. It was a pretty decent sized garage, and inside there was a young man working on the engine for some kind of ship. His face had oil and grease smears all around it, and he had a pretty bad odor. Kane asked the man, "Are you Harold?"
"Why yes, that is me. I'm Harold, pleased to make your acquaintance." Harold replied.
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Kane, she is Alyssa, and this is Hiko." Kane told him.
"Strangers don't normally come to me for a conversation, so I assume you're here for a favor from me?"
"Yeah, we're here trying to get a ride to the ruins of Corr. Your old man said you can get us there in no time." Hiko said.
"Why of course. My Sand Zoomer can get you there in a jiffy and can seat all four of us."
"Great. We'd like to get there as soon as possible." Hiko told him.
"Alright. My Sand Zoomer is sitting right over there, hop in and we'll head over there right away."
