"alright, pair yourselves for homework due in next meeting," the instructor said as he started to write on the whiteboard for further instructions.

the blonde girl beside the transfer student turned around to face her. she smiled, "want to be my partner?"

the transfer student, lisa, was going to respond, but someone's hand landed on her desk. it was jungkook who smiled widely to the blondie, "sadly, lisa agreed to pair with me."

the blonde girl whose name is rose just forced a smile as she nodded. she doesn't want to argue with someone like him. she knows that he's targeting the new student and she doesn't want to be involved. she turned around to leave and look for a partner for the homework.

lisa scoffed and scowled at jungkook who sat down on the vacant seat left by the owner, rose. he grins, "there's a new café around here, wanna go tomorrow to start?"

"can't we do it here?" lisa suggested.

"what about my place? even better," jungkook winked as if trying to say something more than doing the homework. he mischievously says, "might as well hangout after and do something way more fun."

lisa rolled her eyes, "oh, stop it. we'll finish the homework tomorrow here."

"such a mood killer," jungkook complained. he sounded disappointed.

"unless you pair up with someone else," lisa said which shushed him.

break time. lisa was looking for a vacant table so she could eat her lunch. she's currently in the school canteen.

the blonde girl whose name is rose waved and gestures to her to join her table. lisa gratefully did. she took the seat in front. rose smiled at her, "hi."

"hi," lisa greeted as she started to eat her food.

rose introduces, "i'm roseanne park, call me rose."

"lisa manoban," she reached for her hand for a quick handshake.

"nice to meet you," rose shook hands with her. "do you know that you already missed two periods?"

"yeah~" lisa munches her bread. "i wasn't gonna be here today and plan to attend next week."

"oh?" rose perked. "why is that?"

"i just came here three days ago from thailand," she then opens her phone to show a picture. "my mom decided to live here because of her long-term boyfriend."

"you look like your mom, so pretty~" rose bit her sandwich. "by the way, just to let you know that the guy you're sitting with in class fools around."

"pfft!" lisa snorted. she isn't surprised at all from that piece of information. in amusement, "is that so?"

"aren't you surprised?" rose widened her eyes.

"if you've just seen his contacts.." she chuckles, "hahaha! man, it's so long i never reached the end." she added, "most of them were female names."

"wait-" rose stood up, "you two are already dating?!"

her high tone made the other students around the area to look at her. she quickly gave an apologetic face and sat back down. she warns, "be careful with him."

lisa raised her eyebrow from that. she never thought the young man to be threatening or harmful.

"don't worry," she breathed stressfully. "if he's a player then i'll be the coach."

"uwah~~" rose seemed thrilled from that statement. "you like playing with fire, huh?"

"sit back and watch," lisa smirked proudly. "because it's gonna get heated."
