Welcome, folks~

Time to dive into another steamy story! This time, we jump into the wonderful world of vampires. I've always loved the dark and mysterious world of vampires and just how varied the lore seems to be. I'm very much enjoying writing my own take on vampires and the way they interact with the world. My vampires will be mostly traditional, with some personalised takes on their lore. Don't worry, there will be no day-walking, sparkly vampires here! As much as I love Twilight, it's not what I'm aiming for. My changes will be minor.

This story is a little atypical for me, as it is rated Mature and not for violence. I don't write a lot of erotica, but I thought, hey, why not give it a try again? It's been years since my last attempt, and it is quite entertaining to write. So here we go! Let's see how this turns out.

This time, though, I wanted to try a bit of a new dynamic (new to me, anyway.) I always strive to have my MC and love interest as equals, maybe not 100% of the time, but most of it. This time, I wanted there to be an imbalance of power in their relationship. This story is meant to highlight abusive and/or toxic behaviour in a relationship, and to show how one might work through those issues to find common, equal ground.

I considered, for this story, releasing character sheets with the prologue, but I decided against it. I don't want to have to hold your hand through this story, I want the growth toward a healthy dynamic to be discovered and seen for yourself. Get to know Jasmine and Opal and see them change over time. Will they find that balance they seek? Or rather, that one seeks? Or will their disparity be their undoing?
