A broken heart she's got,

One of the most dangerous frenzies

We call out to her but it seems she's long gone,

She's taken off to nowhere in particular,

We go after her and she's seen crouched by a body of water,

She says here her tears feel like nothing compared to the mass of transparent liquid.

Regret seems like the only thing she could display evidently,

I stare into those glossy eyes, I could see pain and I couldn't stand it,

The sun was setting but it felt as dark as a moonless night,

With that I took her hand in mine.

At that moment, I did what I felt was right,

I enveloped her in a tight warm embrace,

Her warm tears seeped through my clothes,

I knew this would happen, we all did,

But we couldn't prevent it no matter how hard we tried,

We hoped it wouldn't resort to this,

but experience proved once more to be the best teacher.
