He sits across the room with a smile on his face,
His laughter ever so hearty that could melt away many icy glares,
I join my group of friends and set but a large space between us
I want to make him laugh,
I want to bring him joy,
But I can't do that if he doesn't know how I feel.
Teasing him a lot and trying to hint that I feel something for him,
Something more than the bond of friendship we've got
But he's either too oblivious,
Or I'm doing it all wrong,
But I think we're both at fault.
