Taking a deep breath,

I push them back down.

Forcing myself to be strong,

Not letting them fall.

They sting my eyes, turning my vision blurry.

But I won't.

I won't let them fall.

I'm strong; they can't fall.

I've been strong for so long,

When they fall, they fall

And I can't stop them.

Rolling down my cheeks,

Wiping them away as more and more take their place

I've been strong for so long

The tears come on their own.
