Staring at the stars
Searching for words
My thoughts are puzzles
Stabbing with sharp knives

I replay our story
As if its my favorite movie
Forever is not enough
If I'm yours

But how did I end up here
Crying for reasons unknown
You said I was your favorite season
But you left, giving no reason

Under this moonlight
We named the stars
Now I stare at them alone
Until they fade away to none

Why did I not see it coming
How did two become one
Thought I was floating
Only to drown in the ending!
