Everywhere you go
People smiling,
Laughing,
Snow falling,
Seemingly everlasting
Holiday cheer.

Paper crinkling,
Gifts being opened,
Joy present on faces.
All the people so happy
Ones who haven't smiled
In ages.

Bells are ringing,
People singing,
Christmas carols
End the year.
Houses hold children
Excitedly "sleeping"
All hoping,
Silently screaming,
When will Santa be here?

And they wake up
So early,
The sun barely risen,
Rushing to see
What gifts they were
given.

Smiles shining bright,

Merry Christmas to all
And to all
A good night!
