it as a compliment,

an insult.

But has anyone

asked why?

Has anyone

ever asked us

loud people,

us yellers and

screamers,

why we are

the way we are?

Some of us

enjoy it.

Others have 

our reasons.

I'm loud,

to tune out

the voices

that say

what I

don't want

to hear.

I'm loud

because

for so long

I've been

silent.

  They always

tell us to be

quiet.

Apparently,

We haven't been

loud enough

to be heard yet.
