It's getting dark, as I hear a bark, coming from the nearby park.

Wolves are howling, some are growling, it's a full moon tonight.

The steps outside my house, creek,  I hold my breath, try not to speak, not even a little peep of noise leaves my mouth.

I lean around the corner, just for a peek, this has been going on for a week, people tell me to fix the leak, but there is none to fix.

Bricks crumble off the walls, someone unlocks the doors, they have no flaws, they can't be stopped, their footsteps creep along the floor boards.

As they approach, I cling onto my broach and pray I'll find a way out.

Then they lean down, they're eye level with me, they look so scary.

"Hello," they whisper, "I'm Mr Ghoul, I soled you your pool, I also went to your school, I was a fool, but I tried to be cool, I also fell for you."

I take a relieving breath, is this just a test, is there a treasure chest?

"M-Mr Ghoul, YOU FOOL! You broke down my house, stepped on my mouse, and then confess you love me!"

"Wh-What, I didn't break into your house, it was unlocked..."

"S-so th-that means the person who did break in is still on his hunt?!"

"We better be leaving then."

"No, let's hide in the snow, go with the flow, keep ourselves low."

"Woah, I'm not gonna sit around, waisting time, I need to take you home."

"This is my home, you garden gnome, let me win it back, we will join the others, and find my brothers, then come back for this thing!"

"Please don't, I won't let you."

"It's too late, I'm taking back my home."

"Fine, I won't let you do it alone."

"LETS GET BACK MY HOME!!"

Some will lie, or they will die, others fry, but not I, I will try, I won't cry, I drink chai, but 'why' you might ask, I would rather be dead, than in my bed, when a guy's trying to rob my house.
