I see you walking around, I see you with a frown, looking at the ground,  you seem in pain.

I try to spend more time with you, I try to understand, but every time I think I'm close, something happens that wasn't planed.

Then when I try to help, I seem to make it worse, you care about me I know, but when it comes to yourself you seemed to have let go.

You may be around tomorrow, you may be around for longer, but when it comes to the future then I just don't know.

I miss you when you miss a day of school, I miss you when I can't say hello, so if you went and left then how would I last, you'd become my past, and I could never let you go.
